Um no, 7 hitouts aswell as 15 possessions. I'd rather Lynch play in a final then an inexperienced Witts or Grundy. Lynch gets so much hate nowadays, the posts calling him a spud I really find it disrespectful towards a player.

We've put so much pressure for him to be the 2nd forward kicking + 3 goals a match yet he really shines in the ruck, even in the VFL report it said that he worked himself into the game when he got to pinch hit in the ruck. This week showed how much we needed another fwd instead of a slow Witts.

If Lynch Plays in the Finals. We won't be going very far then. Guess that is the Same with a InExperinced Grundy or Witts

I totally agree, but I think we've all seen for some reason the whole club thinks he offers more than we actually see him deliver.

Not saying I want Lynch to play, just saying I think he will.

I think Lynch needs to be given the chance to play the 'Leroy' role. He hasn't had the chance to play that role as neither Keefe or Paine have been able to free him up to play 3rd tall up forward. This is when he could be dangerous up forward with Cloke & Reid/Keefe. He competes well in the Ruck but has had to play KP as well. Something that very few are capable of, let alone Lynch.

It's been great getting games into Witts and hope to see Grundy this week, so I'd opt for Grundy & Lynch this week as Huddo needs a spell.

Brown comes back in, Keefe in defence, Reid, Cloke, Lynch/Grundy third tall.

Out: Witts Huddo Krak Caff Elliott
In: Grundy Lynch Brown Blair Dids (deserves a last roll of the dice)

Your outs all make sense, because all 5 players have either been below par for weeks or revealed significant chinks in their armour last week. Your ins are players returning from injury or in the case of Grundy necessitated by lack of reasonable quality ruckman. Ideally Grundy would have been held back till next year, but sentiment turned swiftly against Witts after his GC game, and with Jolly still out for weeks, Grundy's time has come. I don't think Didak has shown enough to warrant selection after just one VFL game. Mooney's VFL form was nothing special prior to his elevation, and he probably does not deserve another AFL game. We do appear to be at the bottom of a fairly shallow bucket.

declining a little bit

That's unfortunate.

Is he a bit of a project player these days? Will he even be around next year.
If he was actually playing well, he would be a good "in". He'd allow Reid to stay at CHB, allow Lynch to play the Leeroy position around the ground, and be cover for Cloke. Alas.

there was a patch where he kicked I think bags of 5,6,7 goals in consecutive weeks, that was the time he should've been played, but unfortunately not, im not sure if we will keep him here next year, hopefully we do.

Nah he never kicked 5,6,7 in consecutive weeks.

He did however have ok-good form over a 7 week block culminating in a 5 goal game, he was ave 3 goals a game in the first 7 rounds.

They then changed his role and he now it seems plays a lot further out from goal and really for his role is probably in good form but isn't hitting the score board.

Taking a lot of marks on a weekly basis, he is definitely a better alternative for 2nd KPF then lynch.

I'd love a forward line of Cloke, Paine and Lynch ( 2nd ruck/Third tall).

Yep lynch averaging 1 goal every 3 games.. paine seriously struggling in the VFL, both paine and lynch can't provide any sort of pressure and cloke can't kick a goal unless directly in front

The dream team

Well why don't you provide us with the forward line you want us to go with coach?

Wow, you have swung the axe well and truly.

In: Grundy,Martin, Brown, Blair (if fit)
Out: Witts or Hudson, Mooney, Krakouer (inj), Elliott.
for those that didn't want Blair in the team, we certainly missed his hardness at the ball and tackles.

I'd like to see Witts and Grundy ruck together, besides Huddo needs a rest.
Paine also needs to be given a run, we missed the obvious chance for him earlier in the season. We need to keep developing him, he is the only real KPF depth we have. Our forward line is dysfunctional so we need to keep trying to find a combo that works.
If ever there was a game to experiment with these changes, this is it.
