Why are people saying Elliott out? For a general rest?

Next time ur at a game watch him off the ball, he is lazy and regularly trails his opponent by 20 metres hoping for a turnover and a cheapy out the back but more often than not his opponent runs forward, gets involved and helps set up an opposition goal.

He has been poor lately with 1 or 2 brilliant flashes

Elliott got 6 possessions last week, 2 of which became goals. He is remembered for his spectacular mark, but he does not do enough to justify keeping him in the side. He needs to reassess his game and come up with some other means of getting the footy. Frankly, he is a bit of a disappointment this year. The first game against Carlton suggested he might become a superstar, but apart from a couple of contenders for mark of the year, he hasn't done much else of note.

Out: Huddo, Krak, Caff, Keefe, Mooney
In: Grundy, Harry O, Brown, Blair, Didak

Didak should be played as a HF/winger 70% game time until he re-injures himself, at which point he should retire. No point finding out if his body is up to the task in an elimination final.

If Grundy debuts he will be the 40th player to appear in the seniors for us this year.

Amazing number of players, considering GWS have only used 4 more than us at the moment (43).

Had reid being rotated through, i think he is more valuable when he starts in defense then moves forward and catches the opposition off guard and they don't have a tall for him

Why? even when he was a youngster and debuting forward he had no issues out marking tall defenders.

This notion that he won't beat quality defenders is pig shit, especially when he has shown capability to out mark the best KPF as a defender 1v1.

I never said he won't beat quality defenders, i just said he would be most effective catching the opposition unawares and be on an even worse opponent

This won't happen too often now sides have seen the damage he can do, you wont get a Carlton type mis match.

Teams aren't stupid and will now have contingency plans for when he goes forward, I say when because our f50 does not function well with him out and it eventually becomes a forced move.

Krakouer had a poor game against the Suns but he was good against the scum and Adelaide. Is
he injured or something?

Nothing on the injury list. I assume he just had a quiet night.

Surprised many are calling for Krakouers head after only 1 bad game. He was vital the previous two wins.

Exactly right. Well said.

Maybe some Pies supporters should run Cloke down as much as they do to Andy. If your main forward target can't kick then that is a problem and something worth criticizing - not criticizing a player after one bad game.

I think our supporters are entitled to be critical of players that have poor games. It's all fairies and light for the Tigers at the moment isn't it?

People wanting Keeffe to be dropped is just stupid

Yes good point, just came back from a knee give him some time and he will be back! Nat Brown coming in for someone other than Keeffe allows Reid to be a permanent forward, then we will be able to see if people are actually right about Reid playing 'as a dominant forward' or just a swingman
