It was 2 players not 4 so players could still be managed. It wasnt two forwards.
It is also very rare which is why everyone is saying what a shock it was.

If it happened all the time noone would be talking about it. It is an anomaly to what normally happens.

Having a restricted bench and no bench at all is such a different situation.
