A lot of nervous nellies on here. We'll smash them.

We'll still win if we do, but I really hope that we don't continue with the chip, chip, chip transition from defence.
Nervous because we are 1-2 not 3-0. We should've at least be 2-1. Can't be certain which Collibgwood turn up on the day

Expecting a comprehensive win, but no doubt if we get a big lead we won't crush them... we'll just control the game and safely win by 4 goals.

If we lose I'm going to try and steer clear of this place. Not only to avoid the negativity but also to stop myself from contributing to it!

and Save getting a little holiday

I shit bricks before every game, but I usually know within 5 minutes if it's gonna be our day or not. I like it when we win and win easy, hopefully we do tonight. I hate being in an arm wrestle but so many of our games are like that.

Who has all this leg speed for the Doggies?

their onballers seem as one paced as ours to me.

No one that l can see. Libba, Macrae, Bont all aren't quick. Hunter and Williams may have average pace at best. Not sure the Doggies midfield will be too quick for us. Plus we do have Treloar and Stephenson as our outside runners, and they are quick.

Just offloaded a gorilla on big Cox to snag the first sausage roll.

Wish me luck.

Would be a juicy win. My campaigner mate who died last year (RIP) had the knack of picking the first goalkicker, he actually picked Goldsack in the grand final replay. Sitting at the game with him, it's the only bet he'd do and if he got it he'd jump up and down like we'd won and didn't give a stuff whatever else happened, it was like he won the lottery. Still wouldn't buy me a beer though re that's why he was a campaigner.

The Western Bulldogs just lost to the Suns.

Need I say more?

Just get it done Pies.
And that loss will sting them into a much stronger performance this week against us on the big stage. I would prefer to be playing them after they'd enjoyed a big soft win.

Given that I have criticised Thomas, you should put a saver on him. I am often proven wrong.:)

I don’t see anyone in the Dogs defence who could tame De Goey.

Maybe Easton Wood, but you think he would take Cox or Mihocek.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Naughton plays in the backline tonight, they try and expose our tall-defence.

Can’t say I’m buying into the “absolutely must win” doom and gloom. It’s still very early in the season, at this stage it’s just about getting the 13+ and hopefully 15+ for top 4. Obviously would prefer to be 2-2 rather than 1-3 by the end of tonight but 1-3 is hardly season over territory, especially as we’ve already played probably the two best teams in the competition at the moment (hence you’d expect our draw to open up a bit).

All things being even it’s a game we should win and I think we’re stronger in all three areas of the ground. Midfield battle will be interesting as I think the Dogs have an underrated midfield. Ours are great at finding the ball 30+ times a game but feel the Dogs mids are a bit better at getting their hands dirty. Think it’ll be a similar result to last year. Close for the first half before kicking away in the second for a comfortable win.
