I never take a win for granted. We could get injuries during the match etc. Bulldogs are fired up because it is their only Friday night fixture.

Beams out is a blow but having said that listening to SEN earlier today they mentioned we ranked 1st for short kicks in the comp but 3rd last for inside 50s...

Simply inexcusable when you consider the amount of talent we have inside 50 and on ball.

I’m looking fornus to be far more flexible and brave with the ball and importantly- faster.

If he has midfield minutes it will be like for like in terms of midfielder for midfielder with Beams out.

We don’t really need him inside 50 with Varcoe back in and the plethora of medium/smalls we have.

Beams and Brown similar midfield roles, Greenwood is a half back and a tagger. Brown is a smart choice, had a good week in the VFL a couple of weeks ago if I'm not wrong.

At the moment we have Adams, Pendles and Treloar as locks at centre square.
Who else do we plan to rotate through there?
Sidebottom perhaps?
Not including wingman I’d suggest he just may get some time unless JT or JDG roll up

Because he’s not up to it currently. A guy that averages less than 10ppg is not someone I would like getting inside midfield minutes. It’s akin to Blair getting midfield time.

Whilst I’m not big on Greenwood he’s a bigger more reliable body that you can give a job and at least have some confidence he’ll do it. If we weren’t win now I’d be ok with it, but tonight’s clutch...

You're right in terms of Brown's short AFL history, but I reckon there's something there with him. I hope he gets a few games, unless of course Sier regains form/fitness/favour or whatever it is.
