Re: AFL Round 5 - Collingwood v Essendon - Changes and Prematch Discussion

Didak named as emergency you think he will be a late change?

Re: AFL Round 5 - Collingwood v Essendon - Changes and Prematch Discussion

Didak, Wood and Young as the emergencies.

Wood almost certain to come in for Jolly, which isn't the end of the world, as Wood has played well as the sole ruckman in the past, against better opposition also (Cox and NicNat one year).

Re: AFL Round 5 - Collingwood v Essendon - Changes and Prematch Discussion

Will make 2 changes tomorrow

Then Who.

Then why was Williams even training with the AFL Team if he was not in the Squad of 25?

Re: AFL Round 5 - Collingwood v Essendon - Changes and Prematch Discussion

I will never again watch 7 news for the teams. They did not give the outs, nor do I remember Ugle's name mentioned. Are Young and Paine out or was that just a guess?

Young & Paine are officially out.

Essendon have Jake Carlisle coming in for Michael Hurley.

Re: AFL Round 5 - Collingwood v Essendon - Changes and Prematch Discussion

Looks like we are going in with smaller forward line.

Expect plenty of tackling and forward pressure tomorrow from both sides, especially with a heap of rain expected. Should be a real slugfest.

And Essendon have included a tall for a tall, which gives us a bit of an advantage. Although I suspect there will be more changes before the game tomorrow.

Re: AFL Round 5 - Collingwood v Essendon - Changes and Prematch Discussion

I agree.. Ch 7 are shocking. Never again should they be given the rights to the teams. If they showed them earlier I could handle it. But no, they are just trying to annoy us.

Re: AFL Round 5 - Collingwood v Essendon - Changes and Prematch Discussion

Congrats to Ugle. Will probably be the sub so hopefully he can come on and use his speed to make an impact. One of the main knocks I have on him is he doesn't find the ball enough, so hopefully coming on in a field of buggered players will help him out.

Bout time we opted for a smaller forward line! Carlton do it! We did it in 2010.. Cant have Jackson Paine crumbing off Dawes and Cloke doesnt work.

You mean someone here actually watches the channel seven news announcement of the team?:p:eek:

It's announced at the exact same time on Twitter or the AFL website, so there's no need to watch that mobs pathetic attempt at the posting of teams.:thumbsdown:

Elliot's only played 1 vfl game since returning from an injury, he's not gonna have much match conditioning. Give him time.
