This should be so easy for Dodo but l bet he stuffs it up.

BZT and Pick 27 to Port for their first next year. (AFL have a clause that allows it since they effectively got JHF and Sinn in 2021). They can then pass that on to the Cats for Ratogalea.

Next years second to Brissy for Kai Lohmann (they need points for the next Ashcroft)

We then have 2 first rounders next year to upgrade to West Coasts pick one (they will do a norf and go back to back) or use them to get an Aaron Naughton type.

F2 could easily be low 20s for a pick 20 that hasn’t been offered a contract by his own club. Pick in the 40s at best

A ITK on the hawks board who everyone seems to take his word as gospel said a few days or so ago that they almost had McKay locked up, has just said tonight “looks like we’ve missed out on McKay.”
Now they’re all resigned to the fact that they’re not getting him.

If true it’s either us or swans, if he wants to stay in Vic you’d think we’re home but time will tell.
Can see him waiting until after they’re best and fairest which I think is next Friday

Can someone explain to me the rationale with cutting Stewart early with a year to run on his contract?

Futures of BZT, Baldwin and McKay unknown.
Reid's a long way off proving his fitness, let alone form.
If we really didn't want him, could we have shopped him around for 4th rounder?

What was the harm with waiting until after trade week before letting him go? Can get picked up SSP, so not like we needed to give him time to find another club.

Some Brissy posters reckon they could be after a pick this year to hit the draft as they have their future first next year to move around if they need more points.

Maybe the thinking might have been to influence BZT's decision making; that we wanted to keep him and bring in McKay.

Feel like the "everyone leaves satisfied" result with Port is as follows:

Ess Out: Zerk, 27
Ess In: Port F1, 37

Geelong Out: Ratagolea
Geel in: 27

WB out: Sweet
WB In: 43

Port out: F1, 37, 43
Port in: Zerk, Ratagolea, Sweet

I said the same at the time of his delisting.
Why get rid of the only bloke on the list, that has the capabilities to be a fullback?
Even as depth, seeing as we have none.

Unless his body is knackered would be the only reason.

Port don't. Take Rat out.

Maybe Dodoro is confident on signing McKay, or received a verbal agreement from McKay's representatives.

Isn't Chol better than Weideman? I guess it wouldn't be saying much if he was.
No Chol is not better than Weideman. My opinion of course.
