What's the OP's definition of "influenc(ing) the make-up"? Is the outcome having an effect on the order of the bottom 4 of the 8 (IE saints from 8th to 7th) enough influence? Or does it need to have an effect on what team actually makes the finals (Saints from 9th to 8th)? I assume order is enough (Ala last year how our match against west coast forced them into an away final).

It is whether either side is still in the hunt for a finals spot.

An interstate side will always play off in the grand final as the NAB Cup is fixtured around interstate games, so they'll always host a prelim or two.

I don't think carlton will win 9 games but they will win a few and definitely scare some sides.

Fraser will kick well over 50 if he stays fit.

Melbourne could be anywhere from top 2 to bottom 2 so unlikely.

I'm a doggies fan and would like to see the pups finish above the kangaroos, especially based on those roos supporters who believe they'll be right up there.

Lloydy could kick 50 goals on one leg. A gun as much as I dislike his antics.

The question should be will anyone beat Judd in the count!

Hawks for prelim, I'm not convinced. Have the ability obviously but must continue on the back of last year. Time will tell.

It is probably harder making the Grand Final again than actually winning the flag in the first place. They've got the talent but stranger things have happened in football.

Port will not dominate anywhere near last year.

All new coaches or blokes who are set in concrete. Doubtful.

The Sydney v Brisbane position is very debatable. Swans by a feather.

The next one is not so interesting. I don't care who finishes higher out of Adelaide and Fremantle as long as they're 15th and 16th!

To speed this up: West Coast good, Richmond bad, another Anzac day draw, 50% VIC and interstate for top 8.

The VIC's v Allstars will sell out, although only about 10 players who were actually named will play, due to of course the sore hammy, or back ache, etc...
