Getting back to the discussion at hand….when are we likely to know the outcome of the investigation? Is there a chance clarko doesn’t end up coaching us?

Done some digging this week - only thing I’m hearing is no new parties/allegations have come forward. What that means is anyone’s guess. BUT that must be positive for Clarko.

Does anyone make and take their own lunch to work anymore? Occasionally I buy a coffee and something to eat at the cafe near work and it’s btw $20-$30 so in the course of a week that can add up if you eat out everyday. I’d rather save my money for booze

Yeah I do most of the time, I’d usually take leftovers but that’s only for long shifts where I get a break if it’s only a 5 hr shift I’ll just take a few snacks from home. Which I’ve only done like 3/4 weekends where I’ve needed breaks.

The other thing I do is grab the $3 bread with toppings on from coles.

I agree with ligma. Stuff coffee. Nasty stuff (taste wise) and expensive. I just get caffeine tablets online. 200mg of caffeine for ~$0.031 per tablet. A known quantity vs. coffee which can have large variations in caffeine content. So your afternoon coffee you need to get that buzz can have 40mg of caffeine one day and 180mg the next. Big difference if you need a pick me up. Less risk of gastrointestinal distress too with tablets.

Also, good to have caffeine in the afternoon. Theoretically it can reduce your risk of cognitive decline because it's an adenosine receptor antagonist. Stops the fog and keeps the brain switch on. Doing that over decades = more stimulus etc. etc.

Blood pressure stuff is overblown (if you're healthy). You can easily have 450mg of caffeine a day and have zero issues. It's the extras like sugar and cream that are more of a concern over time. Statistically significant performance booster too.

Thai bus drivers who have become immune to red bull consume this stuff at about the same rate that they pump diesel into their rigs.

I used to work some long shifts doing major incident resolution and I’m not sure if my judgement was in any way affected, but I know that sleep was out of the question for at least a day after a health giving dosage.

I once bought four boxes of 48 cans of a red bull impersonator from my local Safeway when I saw it on special. Four cans a night would keep me going but these and even real Thai red bull from the Chinese supermarket were no match for lipovitan.
