Clarkson is a MUST. This is Sonja’s legacy, landing Clarkson. Yes he won’t fix every issue and there is some pain ahead. However the joy/ uplift clarkson will bring to the club, you would have to imagine would have a flow on effect to the players, members, stakeholders and even the AFL itself as instantly provides North credibility.

I heard it live and my take from the convo was he was not saying Clarko is coming to us, he was saying that if it happens it will happen quickly.

From a messaging standpoint, it'll be seen as Clarko coming full-circle.

If there isn't a soundbite from him along the lines of "I began my career in professional football with North Melbourne, and now I'm here to finish what I started by bringing home premiership cups" then we've missed a big opportunity.
