I've always admired the folks who travel interstate to watch North play. Especially given our current predicament. Driving for 10 hours to see a 50 point loss can be fun I guess, with all the pubs and other attractions along the way, but I can think of a better way to spend a weekend. I've only watched us interstate once - at Metricon while we were there on holidays. We were much better in those days, but it was still a 50 point loss (or something to that effect) after one good LT mark on the wing, there is not much else I remember about that game.At the Bordertown Pub having a frothey and a steak before the last push into Adelaide - stay tuned.
That lasted about 2-3 weeks for me then i was okay.Haha.......you spelt Grindr wrong! NTTAWWT
On the Covid symptoms, mine were fairly mild as well but it's the ongoing fatigue that's really giving me the shits. I'm at least 2 weeks clear and still feel like falling asleep all the bloody time.

Not the thread for it but its nothing like as bad as the original strains.Dozens of people are dying a day mate, Omicron is bad.
It's just that we now accept the risk because we have vaccines that keep that number below the hundreds/thousands a day it would be without.

I don't bother going down as it's so hard (and expensive) to get seats to sit with the Geelong supporting relatives. We used to do trips together, but I can't remember a win there since we flogged them in the first quarter (I think it was Boomer or Lindsay Thomas) around 2007 and the drive home listening to the Geelong talk back radio was all "sack Thompson". They flogged Richmond the next week and never looked shit again.I used to enjoy trips to Kardinia Park in the Pagan era. Remember one where it was bucketing down all day and the ground was looking more like a lake than a footy oval. It was Corey Jones first game. We won. Remember driving back soaked to the bone, and being happy about it. I was also a lot younger I suppose.
