I've always admired the folks who travel interstate to watch North play. Especially given our current predicament. Driving for 10 hours to see a 50 point loss can be fun I guess, with all the pubs and other attractions along the way, but I can think of a better way to spend a weekend. I've only watched us interstate once - at Metricon while we were there on holidays. We were much better in those days, but it was still a 50 point loss (or something to that effect) after one good LT mark on the wing, there is not much else I remember about that game.

I used to enjoy trips to Kardinia Park in the Pagan era. Remember one where it was bucketing down all day and the ground was looking more like a lake than a footy oval. It was Corey Jones first game. We won. Remember driving back soaked to the bone, and being happy about it. I was also a lot younger I suppose.
Only missed Darwin and Perth this year - planning on all 22 next year.

Not the thread for it but its nothing like as bad as the original strains.

Is the thread for it and it as bad if not worse as the original strains.

Were they more "lethal" than Omicron - yes. But Omicron is what more transmissible and our vaccines aren't as good against its variant.

Omicon infects and re-infects a lot more people, hence why it is killing doznes of people a day across the country.

Hope you packed a bong and some pingers then.
I remember driving along the freeway and watching a young chippie in his ute. He was driving to his work site and having a pull on the bong every now and again. All I could think was maybe give it a miss whilst driving and thank **** he's not working on my place.
