There’s no reason for Clarko to make a decision at this point. He has all the leverage. The longer he holds out the more desperate our clubs will become to sign him and appease his wishes. Even better for him if another club moves on their coach

I’ve been pondering this and I can see it both ways.
If he’s serious, surely he’d want to start influencing the players’ contract negotiations?
What about free agents from other teams, wouldn’t he want to prevent them from extending with their incumbents? His offers to them become more concrete when he’s actually coach-in-waiting rather than a suitor without a team.

Yeah I agree. And he will want the whole off-season to be able to apply his influence. A couple of weeks out from end of season will be enough. I think we’re weeks away from any movement on this.

Clarko would also be gathering interest. North and gws won’t be he only club doing so. Maybe he hasn’t even made his decision yet either.

North has spoken to Ross and Clarko now. Does that mesh Clarko said no first? I think were doing our due diligence and making sure there is a fair process. I do understand where you’re coming from though. Who bloody knows!
