Got to admit I’m not completely sold on Clarkson but the free ride from the press and afl that would come with it makes it a more attractive proposition.

Yes that is true and we need to get better in that area.

I guess i'm sick of other clubs seemingly having no cap whatsoever (cough cough, Blues, GC and GWS) and whilst we are at the bottom and seemingly no chance to pay anyone top dollar when we clearly should be able to.

We need to be creative in making this happen, I wasn't suggesting anything illegal more exploiting loopholes wherever possible.
