Personally, sick of hearing the talk about appointing a panel. To me, it’s just more money wasted on someone to tell you Clarko is the best coach available. After all, didn’t we have a Paul Roos panel that recommended David Nobel.

Scrap the dribble talk to appease muppets like Barrett, just say we want Clarkson and will do everything in our power to make it happen.

We know that Clarkson can’t hold us to ransom as the soft cap means that the more he asks for will limit the support staff that can be employed.

We are well overdue for some profile and notoriety and to become a destination club for future prospects weighing up their future like Ashcroft, TT, JHF…

Now is not the time for games - just make it happen and limit the bullshit

I kind of agree, a panel is only useful if you don't have a bone fide premiership coach available. If he doesn't sign then you can consider the rest of the candidates using a panel.

We're weird like this. Didn't speak to Will Phillips at all, spoke to JHF the second week of trade week.
That’s incorrect we interviewed Will once early in the season. His surprise at being drafted by us was because we didn’t interview him again. We obviously liked what he had to say the first time and / or we played it very well, because no one had us taking him at pick 3.

Which club do you think will be the most fun to beat by 120+ points when we turn it around? And you can't say Essendon because that's a given. Which team has been beating up on us for too long and would be really good to turn the tables in a big way?
Oh well, f...... Carringbush then or those pricks up Royal Pde.

Hawthorn. Overtake Clarko's old club.

The next game where we broke the drought would’ve been better viewing.
Clarko pretty handy as well.

Probably McAdam last great game as well, his final five goal game and only once did he get more than 16 disposals after this match.

There’s nothing like the voodoo Hawthorn had over us. Maybe Geelong? They’ve given us a few thumpings. Down there particularly.

Let’s be honest. When it comes to these type of things, Big Footy has no clue. This has really just become a Josh Kelly reboot. I’d love it to happen. However, in the end, it probably won’t.

That was a fun night.
Was it what!

We had some friends from England and NZ who came to see this - their only ever game of Aussie Rules. They hoped to see a contest and we had not beaten whorthorne for 10 years prior to that. I have to say, I went totally bananas. We were in the front row - me and the north crowd were going apeshit and the internationals wondering how people could be excited over such a one-sided contest.

Cornes absolutely spewing that we haven't signed Clarko already, while also questioning why he'd ever want to coach North... make up your mind Fireman Sam.

Most North supporters would love us to announce Clarkson tomorrow, but I think it's also important to be seen to be doing a proper coach hunt after the 'questionable' previous coaching searches. Don't give them any more ammunition.
