Channel Ten are reporting that he allegedly r*ped a former girlfriend of an AFL star from another team, whilst she slept, at a St. Kilda teammate's apartment, whilst the teammate was in another room with another girl...
Does not sound good....
On the other hand I also believe Lovett is a complete tool Essendon have seriously played us and i hope we dont forget.
Essendon must be laughing their collective arses off.
Very hard to pass judgment on such a serious charge, lets just wait and see what happens.
Co-operating with the police is a legal requirement, its the least you'd expect.
They didnt indefinitely suspend those two but they did Lovett.
Why the different approach?
Pretty sad if true. I hope the lady in question is ok :-(
if true lock him away for life
Just a quick aside,
how come when people are arrested and charged,
the mugshots are never made public?
In the US/UK, once charged, the mugshot is out within about 15 seconds.
Great stuff saints.
Use a first round pick on a guy, ignoring his bad history then suspend him indefinitely without there being a conviction.
What does "ignoring his bad history" even mean? I am sure that the Saints considered his off-field history very carefully before recruiting him. They knew it was the main reason why they were getting a highly talented player comparatively cheaply.
