Growing up following footy in the 90s, North were revered, they were one of the teams you really wanted to beat but didn't very often. This version of North are at the complete opposite end of the spectrum. I thought they may have improved a bit this season, they have some talented young players. But they are terrible. Brisbane will undoubtably come good. They are giving them a real torching. I guess this was us not too long ago.

He is about as injury prone as Marchbank. We have way too many players who are never available to go near a Comben imo.

Was rusty in the first half, but that second term has been like Liam Jones at his best.
Having said that, was drafted 4 years ago and has spent the near entirety of that time sitting on the injured list. Worse time in rehab than either of Cuningham or Marchbank.
Bit of buyer beware there.
At this rate the only teams the Hawks, Roos and Eagles will beat is each other.
Very true, they did mention he was out all last year with a broken leg. Which for me is better than most other season ending injuries (e.g. hammys, knees, ankles, achillies,groins, backs).
If we could get him out for 300ish I'd take the risk.

Twomey mentioned Comben was gettable even though he's contracted to 2025 last week. Certainly be easier to play in our system than Norths defensive mess.

I would if we lose 3 of our 5 often injured players Doc (won't happen<3), Gov (contract year so he is fit and firing), Martin, Cunners and Marchbank.
I wouldn't be shocked to see all the last 3 off the senior list at year end if that can't play 15 or so games.
