It’s not just a shootout. The skills are immense. It’s hard to fathom the difference in standard of tonight’s game vs last night. I hope it’s not indicative of where we are at

Can’t see how we can make Geelong play ugly. So bloody fast by foot, by skills and gameplay. They lose the premier defender and still have depth. Their forward line is balanced. Perfect 3 talls all with complementing skill sets, and smart smalls. And midfield also balanced.

Voss would be sitting in the stands worried

Clangers 33-32 in this game. Last night 67-57 (Richmond's way). Think the high scoring nature of the game is covering up a lot of the errors

Geelong are going to be hard to beat again especially as it seems the push in the back rule doesn’t apply to Tom Hawkins again.

Maybe. But I don’t think a clanger in this game is the same as last night. Last night was static slow conservative defensive football. This is attacking. Changers are more likely (and forgivable) in an attacking game

Both side leaving the corridor open and running down the ground four abreast - thnk defensively can do a lot to slow that movement down - at the moment looks like a side playing themselves in the mirror .. as I said earlier good to watch these end to end games

He’s just a puppy but Nick does like an easy possession.
It’s their game plan yo get it in his hands but he loves the run past for an easy one

I even get the run past for the easy touch, but when he has it in congestion, can't get rid of it quick enough

Hope he works on it, as I think he would elevate to another level

Problem is do we have the speed to catch them.
Won't need to catch them just don't let them get that easy loose ball -- we covered the ground well last night I don't think it is speed more our positioning post clearance .. pitto will make a huge difference to us as he won't allow the ball into open space so easily - and he will lay bodies out-- he might not be elite tap ruck but his style works for our midfield .. same as a Nank would be perfect for us ..

The reason it’s high scoring is Collingwood dont defend. They free wheel and run forward at all costs hoping they get the ball out. As seen by the countless times geelong have had 5 on 1 inside 50. We hold our defenders back. Geelong won’t be getting out the back. Ratagulea v McKay and Curnow will be interesting.

Hope he's rethinking the game plan or we'll be in for another 'let's just stop them' slugfest.
