Weightman torched him early. The footage that Fox showed at half time was very damning for him. He tries hard but he really is a fairly inconsequential back pocket as harsh as that sounds

Kane has been agitating to get Bevo sacked for somewhile. Wrote an article today demanding he be sacked and naming who his successor should be.
Luke Darcy hates him (and what he perceives to be his anti bulldogs agenda) and had a crack at him face to face on the radio last week. Darcy framed it poorly ("I'm not being critical but.......") and it came over as being awkward. Caro came rushing to Cornes defence believe it or not.
Cornes also rates Sam Mitchell as a coaching genius based on absolutely nothing so far.

For someone who didn't want to blame the 5 day turn around he made it very clear that the 5 day turn around killed them.
You could make the argument if they ran out of legs but they were belted from the outset.
I was more interested in the players he named to come back in that will supposedly make a difference

In fairness they played in Canberra last week. Why the AFL schedules 5 day breaks is bewildering and unfair. This game should've been between Collingwood and Sydney as both had byes last week.
