I am not surprised he would drop a catch like that, that's not an easy one for a keeper - you need to be in good nick to take it, and Paine hasn't been getting the match practice as keeper that he needs - I don't think he has kept in a single game for Tassie this season (either one-day or shield).

I think the selectors have thrown him to the wolves somewhat to be honest.

Wades keeping this year was decent enough. In the past he was very bad though.
