I thought Samson Ryan showed a little bit in the ruck. It’ll be a slow build for Ryan. But at the end of the day he’s 206cm and that’s a big boy who can kick straight at goal. Worth persisting with.

Bulldogs really slowed us when we tried using the corridor. Which forces us wide nearly all game except the 2nd quarter where we created links thru the middle by hands.

Overall I don’t think this team is a top 4 team. We just don’t have the ability to damage teams enough through corridor usage. We go wide and long to contests too much with the hope a Bolton Taranto or Dusty mops it up.

Teams like Melbourne, Collingwood and sydney move the ball swiftly and direct and efficiently. We’re not that.

Definitely a big reason our midfield lost, dogs got it served on a platter

The reality is Richmond just aren't good.

Round 1: Draw to the blues was very luck
Round 2: Belted the Crows and should have won by 10 goals but were thankful for the points
Round 3: Should have been smashed by 10 goals vs the pies
Round 4: Should have been beaten by 6 goals vs the Dogs

Our inside 50 and clearance differential this year would just about be worst in the league.

Hopper, Cotchin, Prestia and Taranto are all too similar. Need one of either Dusty or Bolton to start in the center at all times. No more Bolton forward. Just play him as a mid and admit Hopper or Taranto are sunk cost

Yep we’re a dumb footy side- you can tell our focus this week was on run and gun, so focused that we didn’t even have the common sense to play wet weather football in wet weather - dumb!!!
