Lynch out means that hopefully Ryan gets an extended run at the key post. I've always thought he was the long term Lynch replacement anyway. Similar style players imo although I'd like to see Sampson crashing packs and using his aggression more. That will come with games and experience. We'll get a good look at him and see if he has what it takes.

Jack comes back in to play the second fiddle role (roll lol) that means Miller gets his chance as 2nd Ruck/tall utility. Miller also offers a bit of stiffness in the spine at the back if required also.

For variety Samson can also have a run in the ruck where I reckon he changes our dynamic around the ball and Miller can pinch hit forward when he can bring the ball to ground if he doesn't mark it.

Add to that Graham out gives the evolving chemistry between Dusty, Shai and Cumbo rotating on ball and forward more time and Sonsie and Clarke provide youthful enthusiasm, run and some class. We have a great chance to reset forward of the ball imo. We will need big efforts from defensive mids (Cotchin/Pickett ?) to cover for Graham's pressure and a combination of small defensive forwards MRJ/Mansell and perhaps Steely or Seth given a chance ?

Everyone saying our season is done because lynch is out for 6 weeks......Have you seen saints forward line? Butler, Hill, Higgins, Camaniti, Owens Gresham and Zayne ******* Cordy as their tall (who might just be the worst player in the legue) They're 4-0.

Sort the connection out between mid and forward and we'll be fine.

Still confident we can build into the season. Our tall defenders have been good and forwards capable. The weak link has been the midfield stoppages. Particularly center clearances which remain a s**t show.

Sort that out and we will be fine.

Think we can still put together a decent f50 , cumbo at FF wouldnt surprise at all , is lightening quick and pretty good overhead and as mentioned other sides have done it quite successfully with a bunch of no names

The laugh reacts and comments about lynch deserving the injury are as low as I have seen. Time for us to unite, get on their and defend Lynch and the club. Adam Yze always spoken about as a future AFL coach, wouldn't mind giving Caracella a crack either. Long way away from that though, Dimma will see out the year but I'm not sure we should keep him on for next year. Feel we might be at the point where the club needs a new voice.

well thats it for me folks not following afl anymore the Lynch tribunal was the last straw what a pathetic game this has become I’m glad I got to see 3 flags now I have no care factor anymore this game has gone to the absolute pits I hope a lot more people follow suit maybe the afl will wake up when memberships are down and attendances are down
