Without doubt the most inept and gutless performance I have seen by an Oakleigh Krusher team.Never looked like threatening Hampton, and in fact a couple of their players were looking sideways when the big fella from Hampton got the ball.He danced around three players in the 1st Quarter, and no one wanted to put a tackle on him. Most of the supporters were watching in stunned silence at such a pitiful performance.

tips for the round (and ill try not to change them this time)

blacks over HR 45 points
skob over carey 25 points
oeg over oakleigh 59 points
oh over mhsob by 31 points
bernards over oi by 23 points

lock is oeg... looking to get their season up and going back at home

Chaps, Chaps, Chaps,

My sources say that that get over it supporter is from surprise, surprise, Hampton. End of story. Not sure which particular bloke from there it belongs to but whenever you read Old H perhaps insert Hampton. And which other club would be up to such mischief?

We're not interested in "sources". What the toilet cleaner overheard the postman telling the barman who is the third cousin removed to the..........When you're a witness get back to us.

As a wise man said, the plural of anecdote isn't data.

Does anyone notice a remarkable similarity to another pain? The way this bloke goes about things. His attitude and style and that most of his stuff is second hand.

Any chance the poster get over it is a St Bernards person trying to fire up his own mob?

An easy question would be were there touched on the goal line in the last quarter? No where else has this been mentioned so if so he was at the game in some form.

Murph, how was the game, was it a ripper or wind affected like most other games? I see young Nicky Cooke was named best, good on him.

dont think GOI is a bernards person... dont know what he is... insert the "if you play with a pig" analogy here #

game was very much wind affected... oh played it much better... and deserved the win. There was 2 shots on goal in the last quarter that both went through but were called touched late by the feild umpire. One was definately touched, the other was dubious.

cooke was super... is going to be a very very good player.

(at risk of stating the obvious) i reckon voss has to be the most valuable player in b section... can play back/forward/mid and absolutely cut sides up wherever he goes. Would lvoe to have him in my team.

will get a couple back this week and hopefully be suited to a big ground.

Would lvoe to have him in my team. not when sides are prepared to go man on man with him - think he is slow but continues to cut them up. rotates between 'x' & 'y' & 'z', just need to know where and when

will get a couple back this week and hopefully be suited to a big ground. get a couple back and big ground?...could be a disaster if you ask me i.e. fitness!

Get Over It claims to be an Essendon supporter but has shown an interest in Luke Ball and Andrew Lovett. Any St Kilda supporters among you Hampton Rovers posters?

Angela, i think you would find most clubs would have supporters of St Kilda. Also Luke Ball is a Collingwood player & Andrew Lovett doesn't play anymore. Need to put that magnifying glass a little closer to your eye and come up with something better than that Cardio.

Not me and I don;t have to prove anything just as you don;t have to explain that your Uncle Mick and Bouncing Back...play on!

Is it true that you lose a number of players to a World Cup trip?

I've seen that raised on this forum but I am not close to the innner workings of the club to know those details. I'm about finding as much information on other Clubs such as your own (eg. via this forum), not on our own. I have quite a few posters PM-ing me with information and am happy to do so with you if you wish. All adds to the intrigue. Don't miss out, it could be valuable or costly later in the year.

Oh and by the way, who are your ins this week?

OOBY

You must be integral down there at Oakleigh, I know we often sit there at selection on a Thursday night with the laptop fired up to bigfooty.com searching for that little bit of extra info.

If you start taking what people say on here as fact or reliable info I think you need to have a serious look at yourself. In my opinion bigfooty is just 3 guys sitting around their basements, each with 15 different usernames talking to themselves, and entertaining me between 9-5

Oh gee, Privateye, you are a B grade sleuth! FYI, Andrew Lovett....ESSENDON player!
GET OVER IT!!!

I can't believe the trouble the St Bernards people went to constructing the coaching tower, the coaches could have stood in the grandstand next to where Simon Madden was standing and been higher!
