Camberwell are the joker in the pack, but the 4 is settled. Baldwin has quit, Loater and Cant kick had a RDO and they still did it easy over a poor St Bernards. I also heard one of the OC guns was running around quilting blokes left, right and centre and the Bernies went to water.
Dunno about the 4 being settled, both Oh and the snowdogs have been struggling of late. StB's in particular allegedly left Barnard oval with 7 injuries (no doubt Freddy will deny this), have to return down the Eastern Fway to face a rampaging Marcellin @ home and would not be certanties to beat Caul at the pit the following week. The rest week probably come quick enough for them!

last time I checked the bloods had won 3 in a row including knocking off OE (previously undefeated) out @ Essendon ? Not really struggling in my book you goose

The dismal run of tipping B section continues! Plenty of upsets...

Excellent game despite tricky conditions - steady breeze favouring the tennis court end. Very skilful, spirited contest with goals hard earned. OE with the wind in the last qtr looked likely to run over OH but failed to convert opportunities (5 straight behinds at one stage I think) while the Bloods made the most of limited chances in their front half.

Umpiring was not the best with OH probably getting the better of it.

Bloods looked as good as they have all year and would take nothing away from a gallant OE. Great game.

Very disappointing crowd given top 4 clash and OE trying to remain undefeated. Line ball but the OH supporters might have even had the numbers.

By the way, the guy with the cyclone fencing contract at PEGS must be a very wealthy man. Are they holding Carl Williams there or something?
Spot on summary.

You can't miss that many chances with the wind and expect to win the tight ones, regardless of what people made of the umpiring.

I would say that would be more related to the players current battle with swallowing his couch than his ability.
OH & Bernies dont want to slip up as the Carey boys are coming!

How much of a difference will Al Parton make when his transfer from Blackburn goes thorugh?

Will the big man line up this week?

A work colleague of mine says Al very happy at Blackburn. Played well on the weekend and keen to help them sneak into the finals. Playing good footy are the burners, just struggling to get over the line (sorry, i realise this is an Ammos site) So it would be a suprise to see him jump ship. I'm guessing HBP is holding incorrect mail. Could understand it if Carey were looking like going down to C Grade and were asking for help, but as this is not the case it would be a strange move. Maybe next year HBP.

Al Parton would be heading straight into therapy this week if he did come back because his great nemesis, one D McGuigan would take him to the cleaners for the fourth time in a row...McGuigan= McQueen-Partons reason for leaving the VAFA.

None of em would get a game at beauy

Cam McLaren out for 2 games!!

Will that effect Marcellin in the next two rounds?

He has kicked usually 50% of the teams score!!

Big game against St Bernards and a game against Beaumaris!

Boys,

I forgot my bloody password, so have obviously not been here in a while!

Cam getting reported is the biggest loss ahead of a crunch game. He is probably the inform player in the competition. Or at least forward!!

No idea Merc27 whether I will play this week. So far this year I have had knee surgery and fractured my hand so I am just enjoying playing footy again.

Plus there are guys that have been training since November that still deserve a chance in front of me.

How bloody cold is it in Melbourne!!

It is not called the Snake Pit anymore after recent losses and is now reduced to the Worm Pot .

Careful TP, you will have the great Handles coming on here lambasting you for spruiking Old Carey to make the 4.

He will ask you to retract such a stupid proposition......just tell him to get st&ffed
I am one third of the way saying that terrible word on Big Footy, so---. CC you spoke about OC new structure, can enlighten us to what it is. Is it the new structure that took STBS apart, is it that they are over rated, are the injuries putting them in a position that they cannot compete at the moment, or is it the case STBS are poorly coached seeing they lost a majority of their games last year in the second half of the season and the injury excuse was the same then as it is now

You edge towards sorry but still dont give Old Carey any credit. Maybe Carey has recovered from injuries. Youngsters like Baldwin, Freeman, Freemantle, Mcgrath also seem to be finding their feet.

You are obviously from OC red, so please fill us in more. How does this fit in with Old Carey's youth policy? Parton if fit would be a boon, but doesnt Reid play a similar game. McGuigan would be licking his lips.

Who are everyone's thoughts on the outstanding B grade players so far in 08 ??

T. Brown (OH)
Biggs (OE)
Haynes (Beauy)
McLaren (Marcellin)
Lynch (SKevs)

throw some names around as to your clubs best player so far :)
