Congratulations Tim Biggs,

Frequently was in the best and being in a winning team always helps.
Usually not always there is something that stands out.

For Example, a couple of years ago I went to the comp B&F. 2 Red Heads, a guy with long hair,(that would have put his hair in a pony tail.) All won. Andrew Ramsden (Ruckman) tied Joel Rice who loves the white zinc!!! ha (You'll love that Ricey) Won the A grade award. But I think its safe to say both these guys can play!!!

This year I also noticed Papaluca won his comp. Biggs well there is 2 of them, might seem like they are everywhere to the umps.

All in all though, you dont win or get close to a league Best and Fairest unless you can play. So to all that won Congrats.
Especially Warrick DeVercelli (Marcellin)

Just not good enough this year mate.
Came back fom Perth late so I didn't get to do a pre season at all. Had knee surgery around Rd 3.

Then just didn't go near to what I should be doing for my team. Had 30 set shots on goal in the last 3 rds for a return of 13 goals!! I am being deadly serious too when I say there was no kick that shouldn't have been kicked. When you get the yips its hard.

But yeah knee felt better towards the end and started to get a kick. Ill get a full pre season under my belt. See how I go.
I saw Matt Bortolotto did not poll at all. He will win our club B&F. I was very surprised.

I had a hard on all week just waiting to play OEG and my excitement was justified with me having another day out against TBP's mob, could have been more if the least talented of the Wintle's didn't come down in the 3rd and try and show me up! Don't know what all the fuss is about with the incident involving the Bow legged 47yo!?! Everyone should be impressed he was even able to haul that hideous body of his over the fence to begin with! I certainly was, keep up the good work head you ugly mug!

Not satisfied at all Jogger, we were aiming to go a lot deeper than Sunday. Full credit to Uni Blacks who started better and kicked straighter. They will put up a good show on Saturday against OE.

A finals berth was a great effort by the boys after everyone tipped us to be heading to C section. We will come back bigger, stronger and hungrier next season.

Congrats Tutto on a fine performance in the comp B&f.

Velardo out for 2 matches - goneburger for the preliminary and grand finals.

Any word on what's happening with Kinsella? Did OE file an unobserved incident report regarding the elbow? Is there an investigation taking place about the fence-jumping? And if so, will the panel report back in time for this weekend?

TTN - apparently Kinsella will be at VAFA HQ tonight to discuss the incident.

Apparently the 'hit' was so good that the jockey was concussed and can't remember what happened in the moments directly after leaving the field.

I heard on Monday that it was clearly seen by the collar and tie brigade on the first floor deck at HQ - in fact the matter was referred to the Tribunal by Michael Sholly himself.

Rumour has it that the VAFA have contacted Celebrate Party Hire to install some disco lights, a disco ball and a smoke machine for the Kinsella investigation tonight. David has informed the commission that as part of his defence he will be performing his critically aclaimed and very polished performance of Copacabana. David hopes the feathers in his hair may just sway the panel......

Only time will tell.....

Goodluck David!!! Mwah!!!!!

Nuts - a couple of points to hopefully clarify your questions:

1. No unobserved incident report filed by OE - wouldn't have mattered anyway, the 'elbow' you speak of was non existent.
2. Investigation tonight
3. StBMT have the week off so it doesn't matter if they report back this week.

From my experience the panel will resolve the matter tonight

TBP was on the balcony with "The Boss" so maybe he could shed some light on whether this "non-existent elbow was seen by the committee
.
I was at the ground and in the rooms by 12pm and then spent the game on the blacony talking all things VAFA with Michael Sholly and Brian Goodmen... both great guys.

He also filed this on Monday so there must have been some talk about it way up there.

Verlads had just taken a terrific mark and goaled and was really turning the game in OEGs favour. As he was walking back to position in the forward line, watching for the centre bounce, Kinsella has calmly walked up to his side and blatantly threw an elbow at Verlads throat when he wasn’t looking. Verlads instinctively was shocked by the act and turned to throw a right hook at Kinsella. Had it been in the chest or shoulder it probably would have been OK but it got him square in the nose.

My guess is one week for the elbow, two for the fence jumping.

Reports coming out of VAFA HQ this afternoon suggest that OEG will have their own charge to answer tonight after StB launched a complaint against the OE supporter in question.

It seems like a '*** for tat' response after the Kinsella investigation.

I know we are "amateurs" but is there a form of punishment the VAFA can handout other than suspension-especially keeping in mind the next game the tigers will play?

Do they do fines for players? I know they fine clubs for a lot of stuff (late placement of results, melee, alcohol).

I am sure kinna would be happy to part with some hard earned if it meant a grand final spot.

This is all based on him actually being found guilty, which i dont think he will.

To be honest i'm not sure how he couldn't be found guilty. Surely the VAFA will take a strong view against any player who jumps the fence and chests an elderly spectator.

At the end of the day the supporter was most likely out of line in abusing Kinsella but with the VAFA priding itself on a clean football image the last thing they want to be seen doing is condoning players getting in contact with spectators.

The only thing he has in his favour is i recall reading the footy record during the year and a similar incident occured when a player got in a tussle with an opposition team manager. I think the investigation resulted in a warning to the player????

One match maybe, just happens to be a pretty important match though....

Scribe ! what brings you to such lofty heights as the B section Thread? Aren't your lads now down in D Grade??

A cheap shot I know but I couldn't resist!! Anyway, totally off the topic, tell us what the real stroy was at Fitzroy this year Frase, we won't tell anyone, promise................

If this is true then its case closed Kinna gets a warning. If Kinna does get suspended should OEG cop a fine as well.
