We are in agreement I promise you. Cats paid up under the rules of the system. They “could” complain but it would fall on deaf ears because it’s the same rules for every team, no one else has done it YET but I reckon it’ll happen again and more often down the line.

Just like Dogs “could” complain about Smith’s situation but that would be highly hypocritical when they got JUH and Darcy for basically nothing under said same system.

AFL is at fault here, there is no one club who controls how this all works.

Suns pick 13 would be dead on value for both clubs. Blues 14 (was Hawks) would probably do it too.

It’s no secret Dogs have bombers pick 9 in their sights. There are a ton of trade possibilities it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

13 will go elsewhere and if essendon trade 9 (I still think they shouldn't as I don't think kako is bid by 8) it won't be to us.
