I was on the train to Adelaide (yes train...airfares that weekend were out of control) fairly recently and at one point when we were rounding a curve just outside the city when the so-called (it's pretty non-existent) city sky line came into view, the lady on the PA informed us that Adelaide was there, "right in front of us".

I thought back to the above video and laughed.

Oh, Adelaide.

I can understand why It's easier for you to talk about Footy from 30+ years ago.

As a dedicated, passionate Adelaide supporter, I would ask you to skip forward to an era of National importance. Your little backwater state rivalries are irrelevant.

Fortunately Adelaide is just caught up to 30 years ago. The mullets we were sporting back then are still in vogue over there.

Mullet > Top Knot

Crows did trade for Menzel. Ahead of his time so he'll have to grow out the mullet for a spell until the rest catch up.

He will have a nice clean new look, I'm sure.

... just as it didn't take Bryce Gibbs that long to acclimatise to having shit awful Melbournian hair.

Lez has some of the best locks in the game. Undoubtedly the new gold standard that will spread across Adelaide like a wildfire.

Was travelling by train ok?

I know that white middle class Liberal voters can be confronted by the sheer audacity of transport that doesn't arrive within 3 hours at a different city.

It hurts small business I think.

Good thing I'm not a Liberal voter then. ;)

Yeah the trip was good. Although the scenery once you leave Stawell until you get near Murray Bridge is a bit monotonous. There's only so many flat wheat fields and silos one can look at.
