I'm thinking of more a left field selection with this one to distinguish my team from others... I also have six Cats players and whilst I'm one of the slayers who gets angry at people for being paranoid about having too many players from one team, some fun might be lost for me if I choose Ablett meaning atleast a third of my team is playing in one game...

1. barlow out, mcneil in
2. MPP swap mcneil with okeefe
3. bring rockliff off bench to 7th forward
4. profit

thats really not a bad idea...
Already got Mcneil though... but with Gysberts being a fail trade, I could downgrade barlow to someone with better JS....

hmm

Is it worth bringing in someone like Kelly or Carazzo who won't average as much as other popular picks, but will be good DP links to the backline?

I can't see the advantages with picking Ablett over Montagna... unless of course you already have Monty.
Montagna is in better form, more durable and has an easier run home.

Spoiled for choice. Will get Ablett or Chapman tho. Both very good players and leaning towards Ablett but boy is Chapman tempting with DPP

With Hayes, Swan, Bartel, Lewis and Pendlebury I'm really not sure.

I've narrowed it down to Ablett or Montagna, leaning toward Joey as I'm thinking Ablett is more likely to be rested...

Same. But I looked at Ablett's run home '09 and he played every game after rd 15. Hopefully one of them has a mysterious one-week injury this week - it will make things very easy.

I currently have Nason as my 7th defender and copped a zero this week with Bock out injured.

My midfield is Ablett Montagna Swann Bartel Watson and of course Barlow wiht Shuey and Gysberts stinking it up on the bench.

My thoughts are Barlow to Kelly, giving me the cash to upgrade Webberley to Heath Shaw, which gives me Nason as bench cover in the backs and gives me a DP between Kelly and Hodge or Goddard should they go down.

Otherwise straight swap for Judd or Boyd.

Given my midfield already consits of Swan, Bartel, Selwood, Cooney and Watson I'm looking at either Hayes or Montagna.

Currently leaning towards the cheaper option in Hayes.

Scott Thompson anyone. He's dirt cheap and Adelaide are starting to lift.....
Thompson plays best when Adelaide win... Now looking at Adelaide's draw they have 4 heavy weight top 4 contenders (Cats, Saints, Pies and Dogs) and 4 bottom 4 contenders (Tigers, Lions, Eagles, Power)
Expect to see yo-yo scores with him ranging from 60-70 to 140. Barlow being extremely consistent makes you want to replace with a like for like. Having said that, you can pocket 110k with this option although money becomes less and less valuable as the season goes on and you just want the best players.
