What are you getting so angry about.

Earlier we had this discussion and you seemed rather civil. The other difference is that you seemed to think that Lambert had suggested Dusty would probably be played of half back.

But above you say Lambert's statement was ambiguous?
Not angry, but it is ambiguous. We cannot decipher clearly what Bubba Sheep stated. We are both assuming. Please let go as we need to see what eventuates from it. I'm with you though as I would be bemused horrified and gob smacked if he plays HBF.

Who or what is Bubba Sheep? Serious question.

B: Grimes, Astbury, Rance
HB: Markov, McIntosh, Houli
C: Menadue, Cotchin, B.Ellis
HF: Lloyd, Griffiths, C.Ellis
F: Rioli, Riewoldt, S.Edwards
R: Nankervis/Hampson, Martin, Prestia
Int: Caddy, Miles, Vlastuin, Short

With the exception of Grigg, that is the best team we have based on 2016 form and potential.

The midfield depth, utility types and overall speed would make that a very dangerous team. And despite only having two genuine KPPs at each end, is quite a tall team.

It's ambiguous and you cannot make a clear account of it. I will tell you this as you seem to struggle with detail.

Dusty was the leading contested and uncontested ball winner in our side last year.
Now with DH at the helm anything goes especially when defence is involved, but like you I'm hoping Bubba Sheep messed up his lines.
Lol seemed clear to me

Menadue not best 22 for mine, too many skill errors, don't think he's ready. Did some nice play in the intraclub but overall not amazing.

Otherwise good side man :)

I don't know why people keep omitting Grigg... He will play every game unless injury curtails him

Really?? Have another read and don't skip a word.
It said work on the defense

Not sure it could have been any clearer.
Further more lambo wouldn't be the one mentioning a positional move for our best player

Has it written in his contract I think

This year will test selection I reckon with Grigg being one who could be found on the outer fairly quick if some kids come on. Still I expect his name to be down for R1.

I don't want to debate on your ability to interpret or read an article and yes I do agree with your Bubba Sheep logic, but this is of no relevance to the first post you made.He also stated 'WE ALSO EXPECT HIM " so it implies it wasn't his opinion only. Obviously a group discussion coming from the FD IMO.

Now this is what he said which made his report ambiguous

""But we also expect him to play defence as well. That's a part of the game that he is working on because we know he can play the attacking side, but he is going to have another great year."

I cannot simplify this any further for you .

I would read that as not actually sending Dusty to a HBF, but work on his defensive running/tackling.

This was the point I made in reference to not being Lambos decision solely and not the point regarding to Dusty playing defence. This was the second statement I made.
Again you've clarified that there is ambiguity in the statement if you continued to read on as it clearly mentioned playing defence and not tackling/running as you suggest .
Which you still could be right.

Only problem is we don't play a back six, we play a back 17.

B Ellis has by reports been spending most of his time with the defensive group this PS so I reckon he slots in there somewhere. I wouldn't be totally against him in Houli's role and allow Houli to play the sweeper/winger.

I reckon plan A is Vlastuin as a defender regardless of what the PS talk is. With more guys competing for spots in the midfield some will end up as starting defenders. Mackintosh, Conca, C Ellis, Menadue are a few more that come to mind trying to play that mid role. Cotch, Martin, Miles, Prestia, Caddy, Vlastuin, Grigg, Edwards, Lennon, Lloyd are all trying to find a role in the mid/HF role so some will either miss out or be moved elsewhere.
I suppose when you add the 3 centreline players, 2 on the ball, and a rotation of 3 midfielders off the bench, plus say 1 small fwd or 1 small back. Who all need to be able to play midfield. There's roughly half the team that needs to be able to run through the midfield and the team not lose output. We probably have 7 players who can hold their own. Still question marks over the rest. Either needing to step up as 2nd year players, or return from injury, perform at a new club, or have better years than 2016.

Haha all good, but you are wrong which is fine.

Wrong about what ?IF so , is it possible for you to explain this?
Move on mate.
PS I can see your trusty assistant has come to your defence with some powerful and intellectual arguments. All which have nothing to do with explaining the paragraph in question.

Wrong in taking what Lambo said as Dusty plying in the back line.

Move on? Come on mate, you are the best at wringing the life out of a topic ;)
