Back to back boundary line goals about a minute apart as well. Hand over the mouth celebration.Aker's game against Geelong in 2005(?) also deserves a mention. He was taking the piss that day.
35 possessions
5 goals (2 goal of the year contenders)
3 goal assists
9 tackles
9 clearances
14 CP
Stats don't really describe just how good it was.
Who was Dangerfield playing on?
This post deserves more likesJaquen H'gar
He actually had 28 contested disposals that day...In Judds 5 goal game against Brisbane he had under 20 disposals. For the record.
Patrick Dangerfield right now with some minutes left has amassed 46 disposals, 12 marks, 3 tackles, 2 goals, 22 contested possessions, 12 clearances at 84% efficiency.
Has there ever been a better single game by a midfielder?
EDIT:
48 Disposals(27 kicks, 21 handballs)
13 marks
3 tackles
23 contested possessions
13 clearances
83% efficiency
People getting way too caught up in stats in this thread.
Because they are posting dozens of better games than Danger's and it makes you sad?
Lethal had games of:
38 disposals, 7 goals
37 disposals, 7 goals
33 disposals, 7 goals
30 disposals, 6 goals
27 disposals, 6 goals
25 disposals, 6 goals
37 disposals, 5 goals
28 disposals, 5 goals
25 disposals, 5 goals
30 disposals, 4 goals
26 disposals, 4 goals
24 disposals, 4 goals
23 disposals, 4 goals
41 disposals, 3 goals
And that's just 1977!

Not in his 5 goals in a half game which is what that particular poster is talking about I think. He actually had 28 contested disposals that day...

One of the best I can remember for sure. I went to the WAFL grandy in 2010, Andrew Krakouer had 42 disposals and 4 goals, the last goal was the match winner with a couple of seconds left on the clock. I don't think i'll ever see a better performance in any level of footy tbh.
