Scrub Eggs Benedict from your 2023 lists.

He makes 3 from my 2023 list who've had their deaths announced in the last 36 hours

Thankful for having a short list of names - there was a few tough choices for the last couple of spots, which have since been a little easier to fill

Okay, I have the old pope. My sub comes in

I've sent through an update to my list following the Pope's death, mainly as I realised that I had already bought my sub into my 20 after Barbara's death earlier in the day & I didn't update my sub - that was a rookie mistake

My list was sent on 24 December. All seem to have survived 2022, although given the time difference between Australia and America, there's still time for one of mine to be in a Natalie Cole or Betty White situation.

Just sent. Have no idea what I'm doing

You’re committing to murdering innocent celebrities for a chance at a forum based popularity contest.

It’s pretty easy.

Lol pope
5 pointers are list cloggers
Tom Lynch scoring an extra 5 points for this would have been the difference between Richmond winning and losing the Elimination Final last year.

Apologies ClarkeM, I didn't read the stickied post and just copy pasted my list from last year, which was formatted exactly like you asked not to.

Will try and do better next year! (Because we know the useless pricks on my list won't do anything noteworthy over the next 12 months, like dying)

Ady Barkan
Andy Taylor
Charlie Bird
Edward Nino Hernandez
Françoise Hardy
James Whale
Johnny Ruffo
Jonnie Irwin
Juan Pablo Ledezma
Krista Hogan
Lin Yü-chih
Mutulu Shakur
Naonobu Fujii
Neale Daniher
OJ Brigance
Paul Jonathan Mason
Tim Keller
Shannen Doherty
Sultan Kosen
Tatiana Hogan

- Gone with the Hogan-double. Ronnie and Donnie Galyon served me well in their deaths so it's time to go for the risky repeat. Aside from those two, the name that sticks out for me is Noanobu Fujii for one from left field.

Harry Yorkie
Boris Johnson
Scott Morrison
Donald Trump
Sean Hannity
Tucker Carlson
Lindsey Graham
Ben Shapiro
Alan Jones
Rupert Murdoch
Alex Jones
Donald Trump Jnr
Peter Dutton
Nigel Farage
Barnaby Joyce
Joe Rogan
Jair Bolsonaro
Narendra Modi
Andrew Bolt
Miranda Devine
Ted Nugent

- This list is heavy on the rich and notable. Won't be upset if Alex Jones gets Harry some points. A name that sticks out for me is Peter Dutton. Interesting one. Know where we'll be pointing fingers if he croaks this year!

SmAshmoto
Bam Margera
Demi Lovato
Kanye West
Bill Clinton
John Farnham
Bruce Willis
Stevie Nicks
Jay Leno
Sam Newman
Ricky Ponting
Vince McMahon
Ozzy Osbourne
Mick Mars
Machine Gun Kelly
Britney Spears
George Lucas
Daniel Johns
Shannon Doherty
Danny Glover
Michael Douglas

- Some favourites appearing in this list, Doherty, Osborne, Newman, Margera... The name that surprises me the most is Daniel Johns, the only time he appears on a list is here.

nobbyiscool
Paul Stanley
Meghan Markle
Lewis Capaldi
Bill Lawry
Kim Jong Un
Vladimir Putin
Lorde
Margaret Court
Patti Newton
Kanye West
Ozzy Osbourne
Christina Applegate
Lindsay Lohan
David Boon
Justin Bieber
Melania Trump
Sanna Marin
Dawn Fraser
Celine Dion
Joe Biden

- Heavily influenced by musicians, this list will no doubt score some points down the track. Lorde however, is an incredibly bold pick. Fair play!

brutus76
Donald Trump
Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud
Harald V of Norway
Michel Aoun
Frankie Muniz
Michael Slater
Lil Wayne
Kanye West
6ix9ine
George W Bush
Shia LaBeouf
Amanda Bynes
Kyle Sandilands
Tony Abbott
Rolf Harris
Pete Evans
John Farrell
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Isaiah Austin
King Charles III

- I like the mix of this list. Some research has clearly taken place with an added wish for some to die I can only presume ala Pete Evans, Kyle Sandilands. Isaiah Austin to go this early however, I like the boldness but am yet to be convinced he's close to croaking. But we'll see, oh what 2023 will bring us!

Drunkgoliath
Ann Coulter
ASAP Rocky
Billy Connolly
Chevy Chase
Clint Eastwood
Danny DeVito
David Attenborough
Diane Keaton
Greg Norman
Donald Trump
Jake Busey
John Rhys-Davies
Keith Richards
Noel Gallagher
Playboi Carti
Randy Quaid
Rudy Giuliani
Rupert Murdoch
Timothy Spall
Willie Nelson

- Some solid options in DG's list though I will cry if Danny Devito leaves us this year, but won't be shocked. I like the introduction of Ann Coulter. We can only hope!

Moonwatcher
Donald Trump
Joe Biden
Kamala Harris
King Charles III
Paris Hilton
Richard Dawkins
Dave Matthews
Oprah Winfrey
Rihanna
Kanye West
Fred Haise
James Lovell
Buzz Aldrin
Dave Scott
Charles Duke
Harrison Schmitt
Ian McKellen
David Letterman
Elon Musk
Joe Rogan

- Top heavy list. What I mean by that is that there are a lot of notable names on this list. Rihanna was a curveball I was not expecting. But we'll allow it.

RedmanWasHere
Jonnie Irwin
Rob Burrow
Val Kilmer
Justin Bieber
Liza Minnelli
Peter Bosustow
Andrew O'Keefe
Harvey Weinstein
Tammy Lynn Sytch
Teddy Hart
John W. Howard
Klaus Schwab
Phil Collins
Michael J Fox
Piers Morgan
Neale Daniher
Kevin "Cowboy" Neale
Molly Meldrum
Alexandr Dolgopolov
DJ Tiesto

- Good list. A nice mix of people we hope to die and people who are a decent chance to croak. I think Red is predicting Andrew O'Keefe to write himself off which is probably a fair call.

Wojcinski
Charlie Sheen
Pope Benedict XVI
David Spade
Rolf Harris
Ben Cousins
Bashar Al-Assad
Bear Grylls
Ida Buttrose
Donald Trump
Nigel Starmer-Smith
Kanye West
Daniel Chick
Ian Stewart
Karl Stefanovic
Kyle Sandilands
Bob Barker
Dylann Roof
Kim Jong Un
Jimmy Carter
Dick Van Dyke

- And the first victim to the Pope's passing falls with Woj failing to nominate a sub or change prior to the deadline. Aside from that, there are some decent names on there. ****, Bob Barker is still alive? Well if he dies before December 12, Woj will find himself a measly point otherwise he turns 100 and no points. It's a risky call for the sake of a point but could it be the point that edges him over the line I wonder?

Jonnoo
Rolf Harris
Vladimir Putin
Paul Hogan
Shannen Doherty
Christina Applegate
Kanye West
Charlie Sheen
Bret Michaels
Demi Lovato
Bam Margera
Jack Osbourne
Corey Feldman
Owen Wilson
Matthew Perry
Dick Cheney
Sir Bobby Charlton
James Whale
Shane MacGowan
Michael Gambon
Celine Dion

- A fun list by my books, there are some likely points to come in and then there are some decent risky picks like Bam, Putin etc. Paul Hogan isn't too far off the mark - he's the only name that sticks out for me albeit minorly. Good luck Jonnoo!

HugeJohnson
Britney spears
Bill Murray
Bill Lawry
John Travolta
Celine Dion
John Daly
David Attenborough
Jack Nicholson
Ozzy Osbourne
Vladimir Putin
Elton John
Bam Margera
Alec Baldwin
Michael Schumacher
Phil Anselmo
George Lucas
Eric Clapton
Kevin Spacey
Mike Tyson
Tommy Chong

- Kevin Spacey is a nice smokey call here. Wonder if he'll off himself but then again, a man of his ego is seemingly beyond that. Nice list.

kane249
Nigel Starmer-Smith
Andy Taylor
Rolf Harris
Johnny Ruffo
Steve McMichael
Jonnie Irwin
James Whale
Gianluca Vialli
Jake Roberts
Yoko Ono
Kate Keltie
Joe Doering
Hacksaw Jim Duggan
Theophilus London
Vladimir Putin
Denis Law
Jorge Garcia
Bam Margera
Artie Lange
Martin Bryant

- Some prominent names on this list, all with a strong chance for points. I expect to see Kane push for the Top 5. Denis Law is an obscure pick, which we love in this game!

serial_thrilla
Gianluca Vialli
Jonnie Irwin
Frank Field
James Whale
George Alagiah
Jeremiah Green
Linda Nolan
Jake Roberts
Shannen Doherty
Shane MacGowan
Derek Draper
Janey Godley
Tina Turner
Margarita Terekhova
Andy Taylor
John Farnham
Rolf Harris
Vladimir Putin
Toby Keith
Rob Burrow

- Awful list. Only kidding, this is a nicely curated list. A fine mix of easy points and risky chances which we like to see in a game like this. Could see Serial make Top 15 with Jonnie Irwin, James Whale being near guarantees with some nice additional points to add through Andy Taylor etc.

akkaps
Imran Khan
Vladimir Putin
Volodymyr Zelenskyy
Michael J Fox
William Daniels
King Charles III
Prunella Scales
Shane McGowan
Kanye West
David Attenborough
Lawrence Bishnoi
Tony Bennett
Bob Newhart
Manmohan Singh
Neale Daniher
Buzz Aldrin
Shannen Doherty
William Shatner
Joe Biden
Rupert Murdoch

- It saddens me that I can't make fun of Akkaps for initially nominating Betty ****ing White on his list. I had to contain myself knowing that not only has she croaked, but that she wouldn't have been worth any points even if she was alive AND she was the contentious death we had last year that occurred overnight on New Years Day. Aside from that, Akkaps has some smart picks including Neale Daniher though it's Imran Khan's inclusion that sticks out for me. Nice, good luck!

peternorth
Branka Veselinović
Liver King
Jessie Ventura
Michael J Fox
Bruce Willis
Steve Tyler
Keith Richards
Christopher Lloyd
Al Rorker
Craig T Nelson
Lil Tjay
Jeremiah Green
Ian McClellan
Harvey Weinstein
Clint Eastwood
Prince Andrew
Vladimir Putin
Ozzy Osborne
Sharon Osborne
Michael Tuck

- Unfortunately for Peter, Liver King (Brian Johnson) will not be eligible for the game per the rules however I do like where Peter's mind's heading with it. I love the Osborne double, could absolutely see that happening.
