That was my initial thinking too, but Port has given up 6 and Wingard, so they have basically had a 1 place upgrade on their first pick, added pick 15, added Burton, and added Mayes. I watch the Lions regularly, and I'm not sure there would be too many Lions fans devastated to lose Mayes, even though he was an early pick.

If these clubs had 2 hours only to get their shit done it would get done!
AFL need to reduce trade week to 48hrs next year, clubs will achieve exactly the same in 2 days compared to 8-10 days.
Just eliminate the extra hours spent on posturing, mind games etc and everyone will be better for it.
