So you think it wrong that on more than one occasion since going home, Bryce Gibbs has socialised with Carlton people and publicly states he remains close to them?

Your expectation is that he should wipe his mates?

I'll answer this pretending not to have heard the GardinerStand news

No need to wipe his mates and no need for him to wipe their backsides for them either.

Moving on due to new news:

Well apologies to Fasolo from me re getting it wrong that he was out drinking with his feral mates and he slipped on a gutter and broke his arm - which was the reported tweet or whatever posted in here and I took as gospel

it seems that the truth might actually be worse....

back over to you Fasolo apologists....

Maybe our intrepid reporter has been on the california grass.

I will take gardiner stands account as much more sensible and also that if it was as serious as the next allegation claims gardiner wouldnt have been giving out hints at all if he is as close to the club as he claims

A lot of what you have said is off topic really so I wont comment. What I will say in response is the following:

I imagine Fasolo has to bond with his new team mates- and I also imagine a few mightn't want to hear he is out drinking with his old Collingwood mates and busting his arm - but hey I could be wrong. He has done himself zero favours at Carlton and if I was a betting person I would suggest that he has a redline through his name already. He wasn't signed up to be on rehab for half a season or play VFL nor was he signed up to an issue or a problem or a burden which he has now made himself into - he came on with the right attitude but he goofed - and the goof wasn't just drinking and busting his arm - the goof was not actually spending so called 'socialising time' - bonding with new team mates.

He can redeem himself for sure- but he will have to kick a lot of goals to do so.

Yeah well players make mistakes now and then and they get injured from time to time, had he done it on the field it would have been a bad luck incident but it wasn't.

I have no issues with him being out drinking and with mates. Go for your life I say, but if he was being reckless and he may well have been then that's on him and he will have to make up for it.

I think you're going too far with the red line being put through him. Part of managing a list of players is managing individuals and what problems arise for them, players muck up, not all of them but some of them will, it goes hand in hand with death and taxes. I would only think that a red line would be put through him if this is a recurring issue and if there are off field issues with him. If this is a once off then so be it. He's stuffed up, time to move on.

I couldn't care less if he or any other player was having a drink. I care that he was careless or if rumours are correct - worse, and he is now injured and unavailable for work duties. He is on a one yer contract and the Club has invested a lot in bringing him on board - now he is unavailable for the rest of the pre-season and beyond - therefore his use to Carlton is severely constrained - that is on him.

Am constantly amazed at the stupidity of some people.
Unless you've personally seen the conduct, knowing it to be absolutely true, you would have to have lemons in your head to publicly state something as fact. Some people just don't realise that a person's reputation is afforded the same protection as his/her physical body.

Stop whining, the lack of mongrel in your soft rants is unappealing.

If what GS is alluding to is correct and there is more to the story then the club are setting themselves up for a bollocking if the truth comes out.

It nearly always does, so get it out of the way, lay it out on the table, deal with it and move on.

Alex’s story as told to them & then the apology vid from Fas - all on him should the story of have unfolded differently (don’t think Lloydy was out & about, though I’m sure they’ll make enquiries but they can only go with the players version initially).

Carlton to make biggest turnaround in football history and win 2019 preeemiership ...as Bobby Davis used to say.

Its a rumour .... I started it .....lets get the players involved in something beyond dreams ... a supporter led charge

I mean if they started to believe it who knows...that in my opinion fairly ordinary bulldogs side did it...we have a lot more talent
