So Collingwood's CEO Mark Anderson will be at the Stephenson press conference today handling a club scandal.
Did not know the name of their CEO and have literally never heard his name before or know what he looks like.

My point is all the BS from the media and criticism of MLG being the 'silent president'...ffs no club has their pres, CEO & Footy Manager all be prominent in the media...they usually delegate those duties to a few.

We already have Liddle & Lloyd who are good with the media and have done numerous interviews, and you could even include Judd on FC. No issues with MLG not doing much media, it's not warrant of criticism.

Been saying it all along...he only needs to come out and speak when necessary to do so such as when you’re appointing or sacking a key position of the club.

Otherwise, shut the f up and get on and lead the club strategically and strongly

Of their out-of-contract players this year, Neal-Bullen is probably the one I like most. No-frills running midfielder, can play forward, applies plenty of pressure.

Fast forward to the guys coming out of contract at the end of 2020 and there's a few better options: Petracca, Harmes and Hunt for the more experienced offerings, or Spargo and Sparrow for a young small forward.

A number of AFL clubs have contacted the AFL today asking for a please explain over the penalty to JS. It is awfully convenient that his ban ends just as finals start. This is being seen as a stitch up to suit a Collingwood flag push. There is a lot of unrest and active discussion about what can be done. Also the JS story was leaked by AFL House because of the stuff up that has been their handling of the crowd at Marvel Stadium. There is growing concern that crowd numbers will fall dramatically and the AFL did some fan polling that showed how annoyed people were. Not sure how comfortable Gil is.

It is an absolute disgrace and the comment from the West Coast Eagle's chair to Gil (overheard by many at AFL house) was "so the fix is in Gil". To say major clubs are pissed over this would be the biggest understatement of the year.

He will be coming back after 10 weeks of no footy whatsoever. Let them pick him, could backfire hugely.
It's still a 10 week suspension, we arent talking a week on the sf sidelines here.

Fair outcome in my view.
