Ellis is a horrible defender.

He’s not good at defending and he’s soft. He’s a good runner, he can find the ball and he’s durable, but there’s a reason Richmond aren’t fussed losing him.

Got a really radical view to share.....we need to calm the **** down about our expectations. Me included.
- Most clubs don’t get multiple trade inclusions in each year. That are any good anyway. MOST don’t.
- this year the only good FA is cogs. He will cost the opportunity of bringing a hole bunch of salary of other players forward. Which in turn costs the opportunity of either retaining guns in future years and/or getting other players in.
- outside that anyone we bring in must be traded for. Typically of equal value...

Absolutely best 22 for us. Not sure why a few in here are talking him down. Very good player.
