If Dangerfield exercises his FA rights, I reckon that we send Yarran and Menzel to Adelaide in exchange for their first rounder and the Dangerfield compo pick.

Tutt has a crack. Many of his teammates simply gave up 20 minutes into the 3rd quarter yesterday. Useful depth player.

Well that's what i heard, at the very least I am very confident Jones will get the chop and paid out, Tutt may survive another year, but I'd expect him to play next season mainly in the VFL.

Aside from Andrew Walker, we don't have too many 190cm players that can play back, forward or in a tagging role.

White is a third tall defender. For most of this year, he has had to play as an undersized KPD against some monster forwards.

I would be keeping White as defensive depth and play KJ as the third tall for next year.

And if you havent noticed... Carlton seems to get the rough end of the pineapple from the media in terms of our players. After all, they rate Fletcher as the best KPD in that picture as well... so I wouldnt really use that as a guideline to be honest!

I think it meant... don't worry about first round this year being weaker than next year...

Iirc last year everyone was saying this year was stronger than last year.
This year has a lot of quality kkp whereas next year has quality midfielders. I'd rather pick up the talls now and the mids later

Fills the gap in the salary cap left by delistings and retirements which can be used to top up contracts or chase a FA at the end of next season. Gives us one more year of development into a kid.

On the surface White doesn't look so bad by foot as he rarely directly turns it over, but he puts people under pressure and creates contests when we should easily be retaining the ball...every ****ing time.

Great mail if true. More than happy if we can snag two first rounders for those players. Need to draft some more nuts and bolts footballers and look for flash talent a bit later on.

Desperately need first round talent midfielders (assuming we take weitering with our first pick).

I would be quite disappointed if we move Menzel on.

Not sure how fit he has been this year (did see something that suggested he has not trained since round 2) and very difficult to play up forward with the atrocious delivery we provide.

Always thought he would be a very good player in a better team.

Presumably they would only be moving him on if he is keen to get out.

He is obviously immensely talented and has probably been playing hurt all year.
