IIRC, Dodoro is well known for being a serial over-valuer of any player wearing the red sash. Is widely known as being a pain in the arse to deal with come trade time.

Yes exactly. His negotiations are ridiculous but in the end he gets deals done and his players don't walk to the PSD.

Or... only those trades that aren't shoved with frustration in the 'Too Hard' basket by other clubs are actually done? Keep an ear on the radio during any offseason and you'll hear anecdotes from this ex-staffer or journo sharing a Dodoro story.

He's been in charge 11 years, I don't remember any of his players going to the PSD. They even got pick 15 for Ryder who could have easily taken them to court for the ASADA scandal.

Do you actually think a player of Carlisle's caliber will go to the PSD? Please.

All it would take is him nominating us as his destination, then the two clubs not coming to an agreement, not too far fetched I would've thought.

No, I don't think Carlton should walk Carlisle to the PSD. I was simply pointing out that Dodoro has a certain reputation as a list manager. One that tends to see his opposing numbers grit their teeth and clench their buttocks when sitting at the trade table with him.
