Hope Austin isn't considering using a top 6 pick on Reid

Twomey rates him that high. His vision is pretty damn compelling. Great foot skills, smart decisions, even some x factor in there. I'd love him.

T2B_ is now fully invested in the cheesecake. The last Gaytime in the freezer is a slight possibility- he believes that the missus may lower their stance to just having some of the cheesecake and a double choc muffin which in the case it is possible, especially if she gets chilly.

T2B_'s not relying on it. He's is even now trying to source the black forest cake by trading a pack of Wagon Wheels and a choc Digestive. He really rates the cherry syrup - its high GI, super sweet and high impact on the taste buds -something none of the other desserts have unfortunately.

T2B_ also looking into taking two ‘celery dumps’ in the morning. One I totally understand and fits a need to cleanse the gut, the other to me makes no sense….

Either way-interesting midnight raid and he and the missus are keeping busy. He will not be only getting a cuppa and going to the cheesecake with only a teaspoon, that is a guarantee

Am I seeing things. Did Glicksy post something from his source about [emoji6] minutes ago, then Chemical [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] minutes later posted pretty much the exact same thing? Something very Zac Fishery going on, OR, I need to go to sleep. Somebody help please.

That was a ChatGPT rewrite of Glicksy’s post

Club is now fully invested in the draft. Houston is a slight possibility-the club believe that port may lower their stance to an F1 and a 2nd rounder which in the case it is possible, especially if they get Lukosius.

Club not relying on it. The club is even now trying to source a top 5 pick by trading 11 an F1 and owies. Austin really rates Murphy Reid-he is a high IQ, goal kicking and high impact per possession inside mid-something none of our midfielders have unfortunately.

The club is also looking into two ‘Salary dump’ players. One I totally understand and fits a need the other to me makes no sense….

Either way-interesting off season and Austin is keeping busy. We will not be only getting Haynes and going to the draft with only pick 11-that is a guarantee.

I'm so glad we have you on board here Glicksy. Giving us real insight to our trade/draft hand and straight from the horses tooth too.

Sometimes I wonder what I would know without you being here telling us all that you personally know. Seriously invalu...um

Could Laverde be the dump? Last year at *, perhaps at the high end. They don’t want to give him any more years.

Very likely to be someone on a longer contract

Just today Kane Cornes listed out the ten worst contracts (in his opinion) - because of the length of them - and interestingly some names thrown up here in guesses were on that list including Cox and Parish. The rest of his list included Taranto, Oliver, Darcy Hopper among others.

All is not what it seems

Come on KC, drop a rumour. You can do it.

Your last few posts have been things like - all is not what it seems, expect SoS and Lyon to get in on the action, I’m just passing on what I’m hearing, expect Trac discussions to ramp up, we could be talking to a disgruntled small forward.

You’re playing the boundary line / half back flank, do what the Lions do and come through the middle.

lt would make much more sense this year to use two 1st rounders in the top 15 rather than one player if we have them eg Murphy Reid, this draft is so even, not a big gap between the 1st 15 or so.

A young player with foothills is imperative IMO

Happy Nick Haynes day everyone 🥳🙄

Watched far too many draft highlights these school holidays. Reid is absolute class and his IQ and composure with the ball is seeminlgy second to none in this class and perhaps in our team. A real time and space type, would be similar early years to Miers if played off the forward flank or Sheezel if down back. Not one to break lines or congestion through breakaway speed or stepping/slipping tackles but rather finding an option outside the congestion and hitting a handball anywhere in the 360 degrees around him.

Saw people say after the GF that clean players and clean ball movement = better speed on the ball than just running fast with the ball. He fits that bill to a tee imo.

FWIW wouldn't be my first choice but if we stayed at 11 and he was somehow still there (extremely unlikely) he'd almost certainly be at the top of our draft list. Around our pick I'm a huge Taj Hotton fan from what I've seen of his early season games. Shai Bolton comps seem to fit the best. Speed, great leap, good overhead for his size, elite sidestep/footwork in traffic. Could change a game up forward with 2-3 in a quarter or by playing on ball to give us some breakaway pace we're crying out for.

Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Heres Tom with the Weather.
Its not every day you see a Bill Hicks quote on BigFooty. Bravo!

I like him too, but not inside the top 6
So is it a ‘how you doin’!!’ Type of like or ‘I like you but’ like. Don’t be fickle arrow, love the boy, love him lots and hold him tight.

…(clink) damn empty bottle of scotch (his). Shoulda gone to bed after the Glicksy11 double post.

…where’s my cheesecake. Baaaaaaaaa

I must admit, I’m not enamoured with a lot of these kids, but Rookie Me Central amongst a few others have Reid at 3. Surely they can’t be that wrong.

I’m on the Trainor train, but you can give me a big Smillie if we get a higher pick.

I think Reid has elite hands, vision and reads the play beautifully. For me, he lacks pace and penetration/punch by foot

Not sure he makes it as a full-time mid at the next level. Perhaps I was harsh with a late 1st ranking, just don't think he is a top 6 player

Edmund just reporting that Melbourne have now decided to keep Oliver and the major players at the club are split in all different directions.
Hopefully Petracca tells his manager that he’s had enough of the place and wants out … now !!
He’s the game changer for Carlton … time for Austin to step up to the plate …

Wait so we had two yellow threads and then we had a yellow thread and a red thread but now the red thread is the old yellow thread and the yellow thread is now the old red thread?

The yellow thread is only supposed to be read.

The red thread are for those too yellow to post in the yellow thread.
