How is Lalor pronounced 'lor-la'?
Baffling.
Can't draft him until we solve that one

LDU and Cerra will be 10+ year footballers. Dow will not be.
My point is putting all our eggs (12, F1 and F2) into one basket (3) is a risky move.
12, F1 and F2 on the trade market would get you an A+ player on the trade market. And Pick 3 is an untried footballer. It’s risky.
You don’t hit every pick every time. We f**ked pick 3 in the past and many many other high picks - Dow, SPS, Philp, OBrien, Stocker, Lucas, Boekhurst, Bootsma, etc etc
If we are to trade for pick 3, I really really hope we use it on Sid Draper!! His explosiveness, pace, clearance work as well as his leadership would really transform our midfield
Reckon he will be an unbelievable player and only way I believe we could get him is if we secure pick 3 because the Crows would snap him up with pick 4
A suggestion on the Eagles board was #3 and #63 for #12, #14, whatever we get for Kennedy and Moir.
I'd hope we ran from that at a great rate of knots.
This is potentially in the works because the Eagles need something. We are not necessarily chasing it hard.
Yep.
Funny coz ive seen Ben hit targets more than multiple times and this myth that he can’t hit targets is a fantasy but receipts will be taken going into next year for all those who are doubting Ben and Lucas …
How was he vice captain and MVP being the spud that so many on here claim him to be

Like Greg Williams with pace.
The thing is.. if we're saying that here, then rival club spotters, recuiters etc would know this as well.
Doesn’t have to go far for advice. His old man was a beautiful kick of the footballIF Ben fixes his kicking he will be right up there in a redraft. His ball winning and defensive work is as good as any but his ball use is ordinary at best.
It's a big IF though.
If Lucas slid to rookie we might do an unscheduled rookie upgrade eg Cincotta (assuming allowed)Not really. We want to go to the draft with 4 picks and currently only have 2 before 60. Not sure who we are picking in the 60s if not ben and lucas.
Thinks its less likely then likely lucas would last till the rookie draft anyway.
Agree with bid range on ben.
We all know once Carlton is set on someone, know matter who slips we will stick to that player.
I dont know anything about the draftees, However if they are sold on O’Sullivan being Walsh’s cousin, then Draper or whoever lasting to pick 3 wont matter.
We all know this now.
All I know is i want someone fast, with good skills and strong if we get pick 3 given we sold a farm of picks for him.
Risky business and it makes me nervous.
We'd settle on our preference once the likely intentions of those ahead of us are knownThe converse of this also seems to be true - once it’s clear Carlton is stuck on a player no other club seems to bid on that player before us eg Hollands
That only works if it’s a reach at our pick? The converse of this also seems to be true - once it’s clear Carlton is stuck on a player no other club seems to bid on that player before us eg Hollands
If we are in fact keen on someone like O’Sullivan we will probably make it clear he’s ours and likewise he would make clear he wants to go to us instead of at Picks 1 or 2 and given there’s great options available to them, the Tigers and North would pick others instead

Isn’t that what you want? Conviction in your draft choice is a bad thing now?We all know once Carlton is set on someone, know matter who slips we will stick to that player.

Fans will lose their minds over Draper kicking in my view.I’m with you, CeeDee. I’ve spent time this afternoon watching footage of guys I thought would never fall to us!
I probably have it the other way with Lalor over Draper. But by oath… you could see either of them as a point of difference in our midfield. Phwoar!
What high picks has Austin missed on?
I wouldn't worry too much he is bloody good at this game.
Yeah true, but none of these players were picked by Austin.
If we give up Moir we are not looking at a flag window now.A suggestion on the Eagles board was #3 and #63 for #12, #14, whatever we get for Kennedy and Moir.
