I cant see LLoyd and Liddle surviving this. Clear as day that they are responsible for some of the crap we find ourselves in. Once things settle I have a feeling that they will be let go at some stage.

Not sure if it's been posted (mods please delete if it has) but Paul Barbazza on Twitter hinted there may be more changes coming

He played 13 games with 5k match payment. The guy made a ******* quid this year

4k match payment, but whatever, obviously I know the financials and you do not, and you won't change my opinion, so let's leave it there.

It's not clear at all, and the allegation came ~2 years later. None of us know what happened.

To put things in perspective, I've seen both sides of the argument happen at a former workplaces. Clear sexual harassment that was swept under the carpet and hidden, and false allegations that stemmed from nothing and ruined someone's career.

If this included the players I wonder if Sayers has lost the players already.
Players have to not be babies.

They're paid a bazillion buckeroonies to go out and play professional football.

He also plays at 92ish kg, which makes him more of a medium/tall utility, rather than an outright FB. Jones destroys him on leap, reach and contested ability.

That's like replacing SOS with Tomlinson.

Mediation and compensation likely settled the dispute, meaning she accepted the apology and his related comments, but still left the workplace and subsequently had to go and find new work as a result of the exchange.

His response felt like he still doesn't acknowledge that he has a responsibility going forward to do better, and to set a better example when appropriate.

Senior minimum dictates we are likely paying more.
I read that as replacing SOS with Thornton

Exactly lmao

If being read the riot act makes some players crack the sads, then ship them out, they won't help the club achieve its goals. The modern game needs high % mentally tough players these days.

The longer they take to select a coach, there might be a chance Clarko is tempted to throw his hat back in the ring.
Especially if he thinks the club is getting back on track with all the changes.

Only problem is the media is doing everything in their power to make the club look bad.

No, I have not read the do better report. However my view is that Harry O'Brien played his whole career and never complained. Then after he retired he decided to try and make some easy cash. Some of his allegations were probably true, however he never complained at the time. Which would mean that he was not overly worried about it, one would think.
Eddie McGuire is another story. He shot his mouth off and said the wrong thing a few times. he knew he was treading on thin ice, but I guess he could not really help himself sometimes. The bloke was wonderful for Collingwood and obviously is a very proud and loyal Pies man who served his club very well. Did he deserve what ultimately came his way? Probably most footy followers would say yes. Personally I would say, based on the fact that he was an extraordinarily good president for many year's. He was very harshly done by imo. Yet he holds no anger or resentment that I have seen and he continues to love his club.

I don't think you appreciate how difficult it would be for a young black man to speak out against his teammates and his employer in an environment brimming with machismo.

Pretending it was OK was likely a coping mechanism to avoid being completely ostracised and ultimately fired.

Clarkson has said no, time to move on. I think we have better options anyway. The media can't make us look bad, the only ones that can do that are ourselves. As long as we take the right path it doesn't matter one little bit what anyone else thinks of us.

loveeeee this from the Prez

I rkn that would have been music to the ears to the likes of Walsh.

You want to know all your team mates are putting in as much as you are.

The only ones who wouldn't have liked it are those who are content with mediocrity.

If anyone wants to leave after that, then we are better off without them.
