Just listened to what Sam McClure said about Clarko and Carlton with Gerard Healey, and he said his not ruling it out just yet at this stage, that there has been movement and people at the club haven’t given up on Clarko and the Cook appointment would help our chances to which Gerard believes Caroline Wilson’s information is correct about Brian Cook and if Cook is appointed it will make it much easier for Clarko to accept our offer

I listened as well and It didn't sound like Gerard would be on the interview panel unless he was just bluffing. Gave no indication to suggest he would be.

Doubt this is a popular opinion. If Clarko has already said no I'd prefer us to move on now. Don't need to be convincing someone to take on the most demanding job at the club.

If Ross interviews well, give him the job. His motivation is silverware. Clarko from what it seems would be the biggest paycheck in AFL history.
