I think today (Tuesday) or tomorrow will be D-Day. No point dragging it out for Teague and Carlton have made their point now that the media is not in control of the timetable. Let's get on with it.

So misleading.
Teague started 6-4 in his first 10 games, as a caretaker. That was with a stack of injuries, and showed what our list was capable of.

What's the comparison as a full time coach?
Of much more meaningful, their last 22 games as a coach to a similar point in time, or record of games 30-50?

Really hope O’Keefe stays. Family ties, partners mum is really close with him (cousins) and has nothing but great things to say of him. Both he and Ryan O’Keefe are looking like great coaches and would hate to see DOK’s record tainted by this.
Agree I think he’s been good with the youngsters and would keep

If everything was such a shambles and mess, like a few are saying, then information would be leaking out from a lot of the people in the meetings today.

That simply hasn't occurred.

The truth if it is everyone outside the club has NFI and is just guessing.
Agree the leaking is much better but appears someone is leaking that they have gone cold on Ross

As angry as we all were at the time having read and watched Teague's and now Pickering's comments all I can think is how vindicated Chris Judd is with the entire training wheels comment

Teague and his mismanager going nuclear is amateur and a sign that David is incapable of accepting personal responsibility.

For all of the genuine criticisms and concerns we have of Teague's coaching it is this lack of personal awareness and display of low emotional intelligence that has sealed his fate.

If his intention was to retain his employment how does he expect to retain the loyalty of his players if he not only leaves them wide open to criticism but willingly participates.

This...

Judd's remarks are looking more and more prescient.

You need to remove yourself from the media and the make believe on this board, nobodies got a fking clue yet making up and writing complete horseshit everywhere.

Of course they have an idea. That's a very simplistic view. The bare bones of the club have been laid out for all to see under the guise of transparency and our performances speak volumes.

Teague isn't calling Cripps a liar or stating he should be just hand balling or kicking

It's what the best option should be for the team at any given moment

It's not just the criticisms of Cripps. It's also the cries that he requires more support.

More support in better assistants? The club tried. He rejected it. That's on him.

More support in other aspects?

For all of the faults of the board what it really amounts to is a self-admission he requires training wheels.

What is the reasoning for Pickering saying this ? Seems a strange thing to say.
Because they just changed the game from chess to snooker.
I think it's either Clarkson or Teague and not Lyon by the way he ended his coaching career at Freo.
Carlton are thinking if Clarkson won't sign this year we will get him next year so we will just keep Teague on another year.
So Teague camp has practically come out and said if I'm coach next year Cripps is gone.
If Clarkson is not going to be coach next year then who in there right mind would come in and be an interim coach for a whole season.
It's very well played by Pickering, Carlton will really be sweating on Clarkson's signature now.

So, now Caro won't entirely rule Clarkson out of the Collingwood coaching job...

Couple weeks ago she was ready to bet Lloyd $1000 he wouldn't go there...
I can see him going there.

Or maybe David threw the rebuild under the bus?
And maybe Patrick wasn't going to sign a 6 year contract if we were going to continue on in that direction?

Is this an assumption that Cripps was told before signing that we were sacking the coach?

I love a good conspiracy theory but even I think this is a bit much.

Pickering was stealing clients from the mob he used work for so that he could set up his own company, and they took him to court over it and they won. He is just a shallow money chasing low life, and how he gets a tv gig is just amazing, or he must have the dirt on someone!!!

It’s still REMARKABLE to have the manager of the coach come out taking pot shots at the captain. Feels like something is a bit rotten.

But if Teague will we get the 1st rate coaching panel we desperately need? Would be disastrous without major change and support.

Possibly bemoaning the fact that, after all these years, our captain doesn't recognise the best option as well.

Uh-oh, Liam Pickering has now planted the seed in David Teague’s head to play Crippa in the back pocket if he is retained as the head coach.
