Hey Rosscoe, where'd that Dunstan rumour come from? I can see you've since removed it, which is curious.
I'd personally rather we play Matty Kennedy and run a fit Martin, Williams and Philp, Kemp, Dow through there with Crippa hopefully being the big dog again in 2022.
Dunstan might prefer a change of scenery and under someone like Ross might get a decent go if the form is there.
As a low cost, low risk option - I don't mind. Maybe a DFA or for a late pick.
Why the big wrap for Adem Yze? not having a crack, just interested to know why you think Adem would be a good appointment?
Yep Freo will be equal 2nd with us.Or you could argue Fremantle and St. Kilda.
Who did Lyon coach again?
Blues eye a Swan, Hopper's future, will McRae poach Tigers?

Interesting that Hopper still hasn’t signed and neither has Parker. Hopefully we are pushing to get both as they are better options than Cerra - albeit Parker much older. I’d be happy with Cerra but Hopper is tracking to be better and Parker may only have 3-4 years left but he will bring leadership and toughness.

I know it's Tom Morris, but still....
Also we literally have nothing to trade for Hopper even if he was leaving assuming that our first round pick is most likely going to be used on the Adam Cerra trade, whom Morris said in the live blog that he will end up at Carlton (other Carlton journos with Intel like McClure and Edmund have stated as much, re pick 6 for Cerra)
Not saying any of this is gospel or a done deal btw, but I never felt Hopper was a serious chance of leaving GWS anyway, he seems happy up there.
The Luke Parker situation is very intriguing, seems like The Swans are having a massive salary cap squeeze, we are a good chance to get George Hewett, but Parker is a bona fide champ of the Bloods , honestly staggered they are contemplating letting him go.
I respectively disagree with these points.
Our club is currently a shambles. Lyon would not be a unifying force. He has shown an ability to take a some what matured team to the upper bracket of the competition on multiple occasion, but has never built a club culture that will continue after he leaves. Unfortunately for Carlton, we need someone who wants to build a club! Not a team. This has been our problem for the last 25 years.
Although it feels like all roads lead to Lyon at this point, I haven’t given up hope of the club taking a more holistic view.

(Sorry)
We can trade Cerra for Hopper!

What about if the review found that due to the half-arsed approach from a lot of the players, a first-time coach would not be recommended for the list as it stands?100% agree with this. Lyon is not the man for this club. We need to look long term. The pies just made a bold decision, I wish we would do likewise.
Unfortunately, I still strongly believe Lyon is a done deal and “the process” is just words by the club.

If the process is real, then it would be nice if experienced didn't limit us to former head coaches of AFL teams.
Just feel like we're tying our hands, or narrow focusing into Lyon/Clarkson
