100% agree with this. Lyon is not the man for this club. We need to look long term. The pies just made a bold decision, I wish we would do likewise.

Unfortunately, I still strongly believe Lyon is a done deal and “the process” is just words by the club.

We tried our bold decision by bringing in teague of not running a proper process and trying a longmuir Yze or nicks -- doubt with our list now they can take the risk of letting a coach take two years to hopefully work into the role .. after 4 years of Lyon our senior core will be ready for the former type of coach

Think Healy might be right. Focusing so blatantly on Clarko and Lyon has cost us quality alternatives. Nobody is going through the process if they believe the decision is made. I don't blame the board trying to lure Clarkson, but Lyon's nothing special.

Personally, I see Lyon as a gamechanger. Our talent is on a uphill slide, our coaching and football department on the opposite. We need to steady the ship and set a foundation. If we don't see success with Lyon, I can't see us going backwards. Hopefully a solid foundation on standards and expectations.
