What did he say ?

He reached out to Luke Sayers today to seek clarification around the process. Ross said he was great with how he explained the situation and once they have the process outlined they will give him the scoop. Ross is expecting to hear back from him probably tomorrow at some stage.

Caro reckons Lloyd has reached out to Brad Scott. She's not confident he will agree to throw his hat in.

He called Luke today to ask for some clarity about the process his waiting to hear back, doesn’t sound to keen to go through the process as he believes his resume speaks for itself
That doesnt sound promising.

Didn’t sound any less eager to me.

As for Caroline Wilson’s exemplifying Collingwood as the bastion of due process and us as a basket case.

Collingwood have changed Presidents and Board Members as we have, they’ve removed their coach as we have, they’ve appointed a coach as we will.

Caroline Wilson is a pot stirrer with an axe to grind.

My take was that Ross’ performance on FC has been “stage managed” over the last two weeks. He must have received a stern talking to after his comments with Teague being still in the job and the media circus that followed.

What Eddie said was correct, you don’t headhunt a coach with over 10 years of experience, then change tack and begin vague processes. My take is the whole thing has been stage managed to portray some sort of process to appease the bloodthirsty media.

Wouldn't be surprised if Luke told RTB the job is basically his and to just downplay it a bit on FC etc to keep the image going of an actual process.

They were right about Cook and Healy.

The more concerning issue is the club genuinely has no idea what they are doing, keeps changing its mind, hence the info that is current one day moves in a completely different direction the next because of the flip-flopping.
Wrong about the reasons why Healy said no though

Yep. She gets good info and I respect her as a news sport journalist but she still has her grudges against teams that her father didn't like.

I could definitely see that happening.

The club has to be stronger than that though. We shouldn’t be appeasing anyone but the members and supporters. If they wanted Teague gone early, then sack him early. If they want Ross then get your mans. All that the grey area does is just add more fuel to the fire. We’ve all become conspiratorial with what’s going on and it’s not good for our health.

While I think Ross will probably get the job and I do want Ross (if Clarko is a definite no), I honestly don’t think his a done deal as people think

Oh Jez how did leave Ang out?

Not singling you out, but I’ve seen a few jokes about Ange being on one of our coaching panels And I don’t understand the joke.

Ange has coached multiple clubs across multiple countries, at a higher level than any of the AFL coaches, in a sport, that is a lot more cut throat, I understand that he might not be an expert in AFL, but he would be very knowledgeable in coaching.
