Oh, well, now you want the dirt on her?

She said that suffering was a gift from God. Received millions for good works but very little of it went to the poor.

She said, 'I'm not a social worker. I don't do it for this reason. I do it for Christ. I do it for the church.'

There's more.

Yeah but can she run through the midfield?

Why? The guy is without a job next year. It’s not like we are trying to poach him to break his contract.

if the choice is between unemployment and pension vs a remuneration north of half a million bucks it’s pretty clear isn’t it? Regardless of if he is joining a basket case or not (which lets admit could well be the driving factor / motivation besides the money in taking the job in the first place).

Clarko yes different story. If he came you would be confident it’s for the right reasons.

CEO is outside the soft cap innit? $1.5m / year for 3-5 years. Done.

I think sayers has been sounding out a lot of coaches and has an idea of what he wants. Going by what was said there, it seems no job has been offered unless someone is fibbing. If the process is rigorous then I think Ross won’t throw his hat in the ring as he’s been there and done that. However, I believe the process won’t be and he’ll go through it and end up with the job.

Was the process ideally supposed to be wrapped up in 30-45 days for the selection?

It was fairly obvious he didn’t wanna go through a process as he believes his been through processes before, his resume speaks for itself and we contacted him, he didn’t seek us out
He also said he was resilient and called Sayers to clarify how the process will work. Why would you even bother if you thought you were too good for the process. Either way he's my pick for coach even if clarko becomes available (unpopular.. I know)

That is too funny Kat.
As if what lies within is unconnected to who you are as a professional coach.
It's pretty much everything if you want genuine connections with players and other staff.
Isn't it? Even Ross says he's working on growth. You've got to dig deep to get growth.
We all have darkness within us. Some control it better than others.

One or two slip us is different to consistent behaviour.

"We are what we repeatedly do" - Aristotle

There is an interesting dilemma here. If Cook was to take over from Liddle as CEO, I am sure this could be attractive to someone like Clarko or other experienced coaches. However with Liddle on the selection panel we can't announce Cook as CEO until Liddle finishes the job of helping select the coach.

Wanna bet?

Whately and Riewoldt looking all smug and trying to get Sellers to unload on carlton coaching selection by being very impressed with how how Collingwood have handled theirs.
N.R. " how does that compare with what you want to see happen at the blues"
M.M. "we don't have to do what everyone else wants. We can do what we like. It doesn't worry me what they do as long as they get the right bloke ".

Onya Sellers, he doesn't appreciate being nudged like that. **** off Roo you pinch-faced campaigner

That’s just an estimate of when they’ll make an announcement but they haven’t provided what the process entails. It could well be a couple of zoom calls and chats about how they want our current list to play. Perhaps they are looking at targeting a current coach who’s team is in the finals right now…

Mrs Wiggins (nee Tourkey) could give lessons. I didn't say Mr Wiggins, did I?

I know who he's married to, but I thought the game was listing ex-Carlton people. I just wanted to put in a plug for Wiggo as the tough nut he was.

Maybe we are waiting for the cats to finish their season for couple reasons, not just for Brian Cook but maybe to ask the question of Chris Scott too ...
