Sorry, couldn't resist. Reminded me of a conference presenter in the days of the "cascade" corporatise who told us all that the "information would cascade up".
Wants $750k for four years. Has been very durable but has a touch of the Dan Hanneburys about it.
Will be 30 at the end of next year. Swans only want to give him 2 years @ $500k.
here it is
A couple of years ago yes but not now.Is Mitch Wallis someone we should pick up, probably rather cheaply, for a token late pick or even as a DFA ?.
What did he say ?
He also said once he hears back from Luke, he needs to determine if he fits the process
I think sayers has been sounding out a lot of coaches and has an idea of what he wants. Going by what was said there, it seems no job has been offered unless someone is fibbing. If the process is rigorous then I think Ross won’t throw his hat in the ring as he’s been there and done that. However, I believe the process won’t be and he’ll go through it and end up with the job.Hmm, interesting. I wonder if Sayers has offered Lyon the job and has now backtracked to this process? I am not that confident Ross will go through a process based on what he said.
Two faces also!Played for two clubs?
Melbourne and Swans, even worked for 2 different TV networks didn't he?
It was fairly obvious he didn’t wanna go through a process as he believes his been through processes before, his resume speaks for itself and we contacted him, he didn’t seek us outWatched the FootyClass thing and to me it seems like Lyon is in for a fight. Not seeing what others are seeing
That was pretty much my take on what he said on FC.It was fairly obvious he didn’t wanna go through a process as he believes his been through processes before, his resume speaks for itself and we contacted him, he didn’t seek us out
The similarities with Hannerberry are that they are both hard at it swan midfielders. If we took him on for 4 years @ $750k and he copped a long term injury it would be a nightmare. I did say he was durable. Personally don't think that we would be a good fit for him because if he were to leave he would be looking for a club that could win a flag in the next couple of years. What similarities are there between Parker and Hannerberry?
In regards to his age, he will be 30 at the end of next year, he will also be 29 for the entire season, if he got 4 years, the whole of his last season he will be 32, he’s a very durable player.
If I was him, only being offered two years, I’d be disappointed.
I was there the night he kicked 4 or 5 at Etihad. The double meaning makes this untenable. Mr Wiggo never took a dive on field in his life. He'd die first.
To me there is only one person who I can semi-confidently see taking us to finals next year - that's Ross Lyon (assuming Clarko declines).
Okay, maybe Bucks or Pyke too. But I do not want Brad Scott.
