Apparently only 20% of members have voted, hopefully the majority aren’t the ones that remember Jamo only for his playing days

I heard when Rowey say that, he also confirmed that he met with the Adelaide officials on the 22nd which is when I saw them together.

I was hoping I witnessed some sort secret clandestine meeting, clearly I didn't.

He also said we were full bore into Thebby which you imagine he got from that meeting

Should we be concerned that 2021 financial results still haven't been released and the "Members Meeting" is tonight?

It's getting announced tonight.

I heard Rowie say last night that we're posting a reasonably sized profit, but it's apparently nowhere near the size of Port's.

I wouldn't be surprised if the reason it's not the size of Port's is because we paid a large chunk off of our loan from last year.

Repayments don’t reduce profit, they aren’t an expense, only the interest is

Not overly concerned with Port's. There's so much smoke and mirrors going on over there, it loses all relevance.

I imagine membership numbers would have gone way down, just like the men's did if people can't go to games.
I doubt that, did the womens membership for last get them into games? And we aren't talking a large volume or a revenue to make an impact on profit.

I wonder which year payouts such as Burtons went into.

Anyway, we are all guessing at the moment.

We’d want to have good grounds for not getting near Ports profit
I haven’t analysed Poort Pear’s recent results but over recent years they have increased the value of their non-financial assets including club memorabilia (the 119 Premiership Shields.

We have been aggressively writing down the value of our West Lakes Taj.

Profit is a very flexible thing 🤫

Media personality Graeme Goodings and Crows premiership player Rod Jameson will serve on the Adelaide Football Club’s Board of Directors after polling the most votes in an independently run election.

Goodings, who worked with Channel 7 Adelaide as a journalist and news anchor for more than three decades, has been elected on a two-year term, while incumbent Jameson was re-instated for a further year after finishing second in the voting.

Surprised Jameson didn't finish 1st

Let's face it. Most people who vote are numptys. None of the guys I go to the games with voted.

There are few of us (BigFooty posters) who actually voted based on the "best" candidates.

The two popular names won. Numptys have spoken

Having said that Gooding seems like he genuinely wants to be a members voice.

Jamo.....shakes head.

FFS, which clowns/numpties on here voted for Jameson?

Don’t need ex-players on the board.
