First Quarter thoughts: A standout quarter to Macaffer, presents himself though the entire 1st quarter, clean hands above his head during marking contests, G & D at ground level. Sadly Illes plays just as well in the VFL as he did in the AFL, 50:50 good disposals at best, poor decision making, although lots of efforts to be involved. Anthony = class, Dawes presents often but seems covered by multiple players all the time.

Dawes keeps running up the ground to get his touches, but a decent effort.

Cox put in another ordinary defensive effort against the leading forward in Dowler, luckily Dowler curiously failed to make the distance.

Thoolen isn't rucking but is showing a bit, doesn't look too slow but we're playing as the bottom two sides today.
