Heard that part and felt extremely embarrassed for her.Exaggerated isn't the word, fabricated is.
I know someone who lives next door to buddy and they know exactly what's goin on...
Yea right
Reading through this thread, it sounds like rivalry has commenced within the Swans, not between us and GWS.
Just been reading the article comparing Buddy to Fev at Brisbane. What utter rubbish journalism. Zero facts, total speculation. The media frenzy around Buddy is not unexpected. Born out of spite by the Melbourne centric media. As for the O'Keefe spat, so what if tension exists. That happens at every football club. McLeod v Edwards. Sam Mitchell is unliked by most at Hawthorn and he is a premiership Captain! AFL clubs are workplaces and a microcosm of society in general. Personality clashes are inevitable. As long as the players do their job well and the management creates and effective set of rules and behaviours to facilitate that, all will be fine. The key difference between Brisbane (and any other club) and Sydney is culture. I back our culture and leaders.....ie. players, coaches and administrators to not only hold this together but make this a premiership winning formula this year! The first step in this journey begins next week against the Pies.

THE RUMOURS are true. Lance Franklin and Ryan O'Keefe did come to blows at Sydney Swans training.
Rather than the fanciful dust-up prior to round one that has been reported in some circles, however, it was a tongue-in-cheek sparring session organised by coach John Longmire on Friday morning.
In a light-hearted response to some of the wild accusations swirling around the club, Franklin and O'Keefe donned the gloves and went head-to-head, much to the amusement of those around them.
The trip to Bali wasn't a good one for him from info I've heard.
I don't mind these guys having a bit of fun but when they have to be "warned by Sydney Swans officials" & the AFL have had something to say to us, then we seriously must consider moving the guy on. Like I said before, Hanners has been rubbish since the Collingwood game last year.
Hell! I'd rather give his money to ROK. At least we know where he stands as a club man.

Has Buddy got himself drunk at the brownlow and make a tool of himself? No. Has Buddy had any other alcohol related offences, etc? No. Buddy is not even close to Fev in off field antics. The media are now just looking for something new every day for Buddy. They dug out his seizure thing 2 months after it happened and the car accident a month after it happened. They really are looking for anything to bring him and our club down now.
At least John Longmire has kept his sense of humor.
